It does not restore anything at all if a song doesnt have low bass its how the engineer intended it a riddim like sleng teng from Jamaica ..the person that made it with a casiotone never intended it to be deep ...or he could overdub a lower octave and press it on record but he didnt ..the unit makes 60 ..70..wtc hz music that doesnt play deep ....it samples the music and makes it sound like 30 hz

This is a wonderful synopsis of DM Smart amp control. The software confuses many people due to its lack of written documentation. I don’t own any Audiocontrol hardware yet but this video makes me a better informed buyer. Thank you. I wish they offered a Linux version of DM Smart. At present it’s Mac or Windows only to access the USB interface, iOS or Android for Bluetooth. The Bluetooth usability has been variable through different firmware versions over time. They’re still pushing firmware updates, which is great to see six years in.

I'm still struggling with the SWI-RC-1, I've used the preselected switches on the side but it did not work, now I am working on the manual programming with limited results. Funny thing is the wire colors on the small end of the unit DO NOT match the instructions... Video is good, just wish there was one for the RC-1

So if you have the Epicenter inline with your system AND the knob all the way DOWN (counter clockwise), we are actually taking away bass in a song (that already has heavy bass)???
