It’s half-true, yes it stands no chance against F-15’s, Gripen’s, F-16’s (even against the F-16A that doesn’t even have Fox-1’s) but most of these planes are on the same team so it doesn’t have to deal with em (though it has a really small chance to face a single jet like 16AJ, ADF and MLU and Gripen A in red team and that’s it), however it would stand a chance against Su-27 in sim cause of Su’s barely working radar and RWR but it never faces the Su-27 cause the Su-27 is 13.3, and MiG-23, M1C, F-4, MiG-21 vs F-14 is far from equal, Tomcat (any of them) can do whatever it wants against these planes if its pilot has more than 1 braincells (which is actually pretty rare to see) In RB however these planes weren’t as near OP as M2KC-S4/5 that sit at the same and still didn’t get BR nerfs

@@-..----.--.-... This isn't the mindset you should have when doing balance changes. A vindictive "This vehicle deserves to be bad because it was good" mindset is just going to create another problem somewhere else. The goal should be that every vehicle at the very least has a fighting chance at whatever BR it's at. Not that some vehicles just flip between being food and the feeder. It's naturally unstable and tends to breed toxicity from the player base in one form or another.

@@Registered_Simp Yes, i obviously didn't mean, that it's how it should be, i just glad, that phoenixes spam at 11.3 (or in general) is finally over and half of the team wont die at the start of the game. F-14s weren't even that good at their br, they just had excellent anti-fool weapon and were conveniently at the br of the most premiums in arb.

@@-..----.--.-... Forgive me for the misinterpretation, but many actually do hold that sentiment and use that kind of wording. Yes, 11.3 is safe from the Phoenix and Fakour spam, and that's a good thing. Though the base F-14A was a little easier to deal with since the missiles were much slower than Fakour. Dunno about the bit about the F-14's being mid at their own BR though. They all had fantastic mid-high speed flight performance. It's just that the A's fell off once they got slow due to a lack of low-end thrust from the TF-30's. Good Tomcat players would rock everyone's shit in merges.

Also, the Tomcat has no business at 12.3/12.7, the pilot on the other hand, should probably go back to playing 9.0 for a little bit so they actually know how to play the game

@@foe111 yes missiles are allowed. But I wouldn’t recommend bringing them unless they are thrust vectoring. So R-73 or MICA only
