Unfortunately, Air India is one of the few airlines which provide direct flights from SFO - Delhi. There aren't many options. If other options are available in future, will definitely NOT pick Air India which costs the same amount, but with worst service.

@@RickyGames404I understand your concerns, but when I flew from DEL-SFO, we had the new IFE system and it was overall really good. But choosing the airline you fly on is up to you.

20 times? Lol. Air India was actually one of the higher costs option due to direct route. At least other airlines make sure customers have entertainment on bigger route flights.

Lol 20 times,bro air india is one of the expensive flight from USA to india because they provide direct flight option,other flights are giving way better service and entertainment to customers because they care to them but the only problem with those are not provide direct flight option.

It's not the private vs govt part, it's the upper management who doesn't care for providing reliable service to customers. It will not change.

@@RickyGames404my flight was good from Chicago to Delhi . The planes were new (lease from other airlines for a while, until there new planes arrive) And service too. So it takes time to change , it’s still in transition phase. I like it, I will travel definitely in future too, if u think the service will not change in future too then simple don’t travel . Choose something else .

Ofcourse, but poor management by one of the biggest airlines needs to be called out. They shouldn't be allowed to charge us money and provide horrible service in return without any conciquences.
