Thank you, Dr. Murphy, for these updates. It’s good news that Novavax is testing a potential combined flu and Covid 19 vaccine! I must agree with Dr. Murphy that without vaccines there would be all too many deaths and bouts of illness! Let’s hope the states keep up good vaccination policies! Can you let us know if seniors over 65 can ask their PCP to prescribe a course of Paxlovid to have in hand ready to use in case they get Covid 19?

I wanted to see whether the Novavax vaccine has more mild side effects than the Moderna mRNA vaccine, so I got the Novavax vaccine last week. I was happy to experience that for me, Novavax was much milder. It caused much lower fatigue (basically none) and no feeling of malaise at all. I will probably keep opting for the Novavax in the future because for me personally, I found it was definitely less reactogenic. Good luck to everyone as you pick your preferred Covid-19 vaccines. Thanks to Katherine and Dr. Murphy for bringing us these frequent and helpful updates! Much appreciated to have reliable and objective medical insights!
