Yea they sound great...worth it in my opinion
0:42 holy shat… a miracle occurred 😅
@@ohokayofficial 😂
Gotta check out that plugin thanks man
@@jacobbrewer3332 yea for sure! It’s really fun to use…
Try Logic's Heavy Metal organ (hammon organ) with some heavy distortion and a Rotor Cab, it should sound massive and brutal, especially under some heavy guitars. You get that thick sludgy sound from the organ with distortion, like a brutal growling demon, especially when playing massive chords. Most Metal keyboard tome ever IMHO.
@@AnkothOfficial Oh nice that sounds like a great idea…gonna have to try that for sure! Thanks for the comment! 🤘
@rafzero LP10 is great for keys and soft synths. The real secret is that if you're using keys, you need to do something authentic (beyond just stock presets) and something that suits the music. Too many bands in metal hit a stock preset on their keyboards and drown out their guitars in some glittery, glorious cheesy crap (like most bands that call themselves Symphonic, half of them sound like shit because they just have the same sound of some stock cheesy synth strings taking up like 75% of their mix and then barely any guitars and they sound barely heavy). The Hammond organ is a classic in metal and is very accessible in Logic. As far as I know, now heavy heavy metal band has used them aside from a few lesser known doom metal bands. Besides, of course, the heavy rock/proto metal bands like Deep Purple. But now we have such a heavy sound from our metal, it's a shame we can't rekindle this old classic with our own touch and heavy distortions and even a massive cathedral reverb to these. Pipe organs also sound amazing in metal. With distortion and massive reverb, they sound almost like a demonic orchestra and add both weight and atmosphere to riffs. Check out Spitfire LABS pipe organ for that. Logic has good distortion pedals, like the Grind pedal and the Smiley Face Fuzz and Monster fuzz and Double Dragon. I make most of those organ sounds and whatnot with my guitar and fx and some drive pedals like the Ibanez TS9, for atmosphere and weight to my riffs. Another good instrument for keys in metal is the mellotron. I have the EHX mel9 pedal that turns my guitar into one, and they sound great with some overdrive and slight reverb. In Logic, there's a mellotron that isn't the best sounding but can be made to sound really cool using some tape delay, overdrive (like the vintage overdrive pedal) and Spring reverb. Again, massive chords on that really help create a massive sound, and the cool thing with mellotrons is that they're very trippy and lofi in nature, so you get wow and flutter and other artifacts, like saturation. For a good Mellotron sound, check out Arturia's Mellotron V. I like to make mellotrons sound like lofi, horror orchestras like in the PJ Pug-a-pilar theme in Poppy Playtime Ch2 by running them through some drive and a small speaker sim using space designer and adding some slight reverb. Aside from that, a good traditional grand piano is a classic when done right - Check out VKgoeswild and MetalHeart's Channels for inspiration. You can even get that sounding the part by playing lower notes and more dissonant chords and massive chords and really dynamic passages, like cluster chords. With piano in metal, it's all about performance - you don't want gentle/beautiful piano parts, you want something like Chopin's Revolutionary Etude - fast, dark, and heavy. A more metal sound can also be achieved on a piano, with distortion like the RAWK pedal on LP10. There's this guy on YT (blue beard guy, I forgot his name) who plays piano rock music and puts it through a distortion pedal, and it sounds heavy as balls. Other than that, electric pianos like Wurlitzers and Rhodes are available on LP10 and also sound good with some heavy drive and flange, and also a Clavinet (also on Logic) can equally sound brutal with distortion. One thing about E-pianos like the Wurly and the Rhodes, and also Clavinets, I like is getting them sounding Lo-Fi, with distortion, and a High Pass and Low Pass filter, and Space Designer emulating the Transistor Radio speaker - with that you get this creepy distorted bell/twang sound that sounds good playing fast riffs and arpeggios. Further than that, of you want to go digital and use synths or electronic samples, you can make them sound more vibey and filthy/metal by running them through bitcrusher on Logic, and adding some sample distortion and reducing sample rate, creating a seriously glitchy and nasty sound like a fuzz tone atari or a broken toy - Double points of you run them through Logic Space designer emulating a small speaker or cassette player.
Nice work. Is it from any project or you're just messing around?
Yes, I am currently writing music for a solo project. Thanks for watching!
Hope you got famous dude
@@Flungman thanks for watching!
@rafzero any time dude
For everything but rap (and a bit of r&b) for the instrumental we need a consistent bpm and the vocalist would be the one to switch up the tempo and not make it sound robotic. But for rock and most other genres this is correct
Awesome
Love to listen to the final version of this
@@krolbren6311 will have that soon…thanks for watching!
That's a whole lot of work and creativity my man.... Sounds super dope 🔥🔥🔥

@@ColtonPogorelc thanks!
Hi, how about you with this sepaker? Accurate for guitar tone design and mixing?
No, I would use these for coming up with beats...its pretty sub heavy and good for being loud to be inspired to create new stuff. You want something more flat for tone design and mixing
@@rafzero this speaker has flat feature, how about you? So which best speaker in this price range for make accurate tone design?
@@BagusWibisono I recommend getting a pair of Adams for that
