How to Color a side view face
This demo shows how to color a side view face which is the easiest to do if you are just starting to learn to color a human face. I have a few more pointers in my blog that might help beginners:

Note: Although I used Derwent Inktense in the demo, the same technique can be applied for any media like watercolor or colored pencils. Normally human faces are colored with skin tones rather than green and tan, however, again the technique of identifying where the shadows are is more important.

Will polychromos also work on top of the neocolor 2? My prismacolor set has limited colors.

Did you print the images on your own paper? The quality of the paper in her book doesn't support a wet application very well.
I have this but when I use a water brush they don’t blend. Is this a special brush you are using? Edit: It was the paper, I used the normal one to try but it worked on good quality watercolor paper.😅 Finally can use these, I had them for a two years without knowing how to use them properly.

I just used cardstock paper 65 lb, you can get from craft store or Amazon.

The rocks look great BUT why post this video w/out falling through with the colors you’re using. You started off showing what colors you used but then stopped. Are we supposed to guess? This is what’s so frustrating when people add videos like this. People will get all set up to follow along just to realize what a waste of our time…. Bc you didn’t finish. So I disliked

You so much today I was looking through my art supplies and realized that I had never used my set of carbOthello pastel pencils. I see the beautiful background you created and was thinking there must be a way to use these for backgrounds. Now I see how beautiful they are for the entire picture and I have several floral coloring books. Thank you again for showing me what to do!
