The Zeisterbos is an unusually old forest by Dutch standards. The trees are more than 200 years old, while most forests in the Netherlands are not older than 70 years. The understory is dense and very varied, which attracts many species of birds. Roe deer also find good cover in the understory.

I lived in Amersfoort for over a year and traveled to many places in the beautiful Netherlands, including in magical villages and the islands. There were also times when I visited during the summer seasons, for a few months, a wonderful country and wonderful people. Best regards to Langegracht, the street where i lived. I subscribed 😎
