To me that seems more difficult I could take off the top manifold and the bottom manifold and then screw all the bolts and put it back together in less than 30 minutes

For those of you (like me) that were afraid you'd lose the vacuum line trying to pull everything off the old canister - The line from the check valve to the old canister is not the hard plastic vacuum line that grabs pretty good. The line to the canister is rubber, and mine was deteriorated a little and came right off. Also, it's a much shorter trip from the firewall to the engine than you think. Everything pulls thru nice and easy, no drama. A+ vid, thanks again!!!!!!

I have been asking people in the car business about the vacuum problem in these older Econolines for three years, and dying every time I climb the summit between California and Oregon on I-5. My rig is not fixed yet, but I'm confident that it will because I knew it was a bad vacuum reservoir or line leading to it and everyone said the thing was buried and not to bother. THANK YOU for suggesting a very easy alternative that didn't occur to me!

I have a Tiffany 2018 mkt limo with single compressor. It's blowing cold air in front and very rear from factory vents but in the middle of limo just blowing air. I have changed compressor, high pressure switch, new condenser fans still not cold in middle of limo. What could be the issue? Evaporators maybe?

One really important thing to be mindful of and careful of though is that vehicle gets very stuffy very fast to the point where it can cause drowsiness and make it so if one of your passengers is sick you’re very likely to get it too. With the recirculation door open and fresh air coming in CO2 values can be below 800 which is what you want Outdoors is 425 so you definitely want under 800 to have fresh air for Health. There’s actually trouble with Chrysler and reportedly Jeep and Dodge ram. I don’t know how far it goes, but there’s a glitch where the recirculation door starts off closed, even though the button is not lit up and if you don’t if you don’t push the recirculation button to light it up and then wait a minute or really 10 seconds and then press it again to turn it off and listen for the audible opening of the door and kind of pushing sound if you don’t do that then your air quality in the vehicle gets really bad easily hitting 2000 ppm. Drowsy and irritability and airborne transmission of illness risks. Make this a pretty serious problem for millions of cars on the road. Anyone needs to check it is a decent CO2 meter Sorry for any typos or are interpret text above I’m doing voice to speech at the moment. I'm wondering if engine heat is going to effect the vacuum canister operation in that location. Isn't that why they put it down in the fender location to keep it as cool as possible and allow the vacuum canister to work more effectively? Has this worked out now after one year? Thanks.

Thanks Mike! This has me going in the right direction! 2004 E450/Winnebago. One question. Before I begin, the scenario of the A/C vents not operating under load was exactly as you say. Coming out thru the defrost upon accelerating. But now, it is a full time scenario. Idling or accelerating, the cool air is only coming out the defrost. It no longer comes out the A/C ducts at all. What do you suggest? Thank you very much!

I'm going to give this a try, mine switching from front vents to defroster vents when I accelerate.

I just did my charger, and I'm sure you actually made the job harder. The upper intake manifold on the charger comes off in less than 5 minutes. 7 bolts, 4 nuts, and a house clamp. Your way saves $5 on gaskets if your upper intake manifold gaskets are bad, but if they're bad they needed to be replaced anyway. I'm not familiar with the limo install, but your way is not the easy or fast way to do it on a charger.
