Still Not a Dancer - Mark Conigliaro Wildfire 2023
After 4 months of practice, I learned to dance. So I combined it with contact juggling to make this performance. I did picture in picture with a member of the audience to get a closer view. Hope you enjoy it!

Mark Conigliaro - Ouka Rings at Eastport Pirate Festival 2022
มุมมอง 1202 ปีที่แล้ว
I got ambushed by my music and did my performance without knowing it. I was given a fake song to do some improv to, but the real setlist had my performance song. You can see the moment where I'm bouncing around and then snap into performance mode and give a glare to the people at the speaker. I still did pretty good after not practicing that for a week.
Mark Conigliaro Wildfire 2022 Performance - Ouka Rings

Here's my performance with Ouka rings at Wildfire 2022. I went a little faster than I wanted in some places, missed a transition too, but overall very happy with how it turned out.

I haven't made a video in a while, so here's a ring juggling performance video. I've always liked the type of videos that look like a single performance at multiple angles, so here's my attempt at that. See more at my instagram at markconig
Mark Conigliaro Wildfire 2019 Performance - Hoop Isolations and Ouka Rings
มุมมอง 2825 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is my performance for Wildfire 2019 with my new Ouka rings and old hoop isolations. The Ouka ring section was blown out by the stage lights and shiny aluminum so it was a bit hard to see. To fix that, I recorded my performance again and did a split screen. I went a bit too fast though in the reshoot, so reference the actual live show for the correct speed.
Ring Revision Part 7 - 6 Broken Rings
มุมมอง 1637 ปีที่แล้ว
So far in the series, 6 rings have been broken due to high throws. 4 of those are my large blue rings that I've had for a long time, they were replaced with the green rings, but they're a bit different. So by next video I'll have probably 2 more sets of 7 rings.
Ring Revision Part 6 - Two Months of Filming
มุมมอง 1127 ปีที่แล้ว
School has kept me really busy lately, but maybe once a week I can manage to find time to film a trick or 2. Song is a remix from Persona 5 found here: th-cam.com/video/UqIuQQFuIxs/w-d-xo.html Source videos: 3 Years part 2 - th-cam.com/video/q4aRqcrJCww/w-d-xo.html 37 Months - th-cam.com/video/jvRKq5np-Lc/w-d-xo.html
Ring Revision Part 5 - Big Ring Body Rolls
มุมมอง 1367 ปีที่แล้ว
Finally the big rings! But this will probably be the last video for a while. I'm going to be taking a vacation to Italy, and then once I come back school starts. So I'll have much less time to make videos. Ring Revision Part 4 - Finally the Weird Stuff
มุมมอง 987 ปีที่แล้ว
The song is a rap about the guys cat, it's pretty good. And I did skip a bunch of tricks because they involved my color changing rings, which are not in great condition, and will surely break if I used them on that floor. Maybe someday I'll go back and do those if I get different rings. Sources: 28 Months - th-cam.com/video/v70r_gQ8-14/w-d-xo.html 29 Months - th-cam.com/video/HJ_VEyi1sFk/w-d-xo...
Ring Revision Part 3 - I Guess I Learned Body Rolls

Apparently I spent a whole video doing body rolls, including some weird ones. Source video: Juggling 27 Months: th-cam.com/video/V_wQiYvVpic/w-d-xo.html
Ring Revision Part 2 - DO SOMETHING COOL!!
มุมมอง 1357 ปีที่แล้ว
I finally got an indoor space, which means backgrounds from now on will be incredibly boring. But at least I can do cooler stuff now (hopefully). I took a sneak peak at the next video and I finally start the creative stuff, up until now it's been pretty basic. This video was a compilation of 5 videos, from now on there will probably be 1, maybe 2, because I started getting heavy into rings at t...

    Subscribed because you’re awesome! This tutorial is so well done and clear… absolutely everything about it. 5🌟!! I never thought I’d be able to perform this trick but the way you broke it down makes me feel like trying it again. I hope you have more tutorials…. I can’t wait to check out your channel.😅

      Thank you! I even sent a message to Kurtis offering some more detailed information, but no dice. This was 14 years ago though (I'm slightly better now), and you can see all the fushigi arguments I had in this comment section and even in my description. You couldn't get away from that conversation in 2010.

    I had my first rings delivered 2 days ago. Can automatically do 4 ring cascade straight away ( I can juggle 4 & 5 balls so that must help a lot) Mega excited to get stuck in...I can already feel the possibilities as I start to experiment with them and this video proves it. Inspring stuff..I hope to learn a few of these👍

      Are you talking about 2:35? There's no name really, it's just a backcross. If you want to get really technical, it's a (4x,4x) with one of the 4x's being a backcross.

    i've been looking for tutorial video for this trick for the longest time, thank you soooo much! I have a question tho, for hula hoops or those bigger size rings, does the throw change differently? like the angel or the plan? I'm still having trouble avoid hitting my leg or my butt when I catch it.... Thank you of your help and the video!

    • @markconigliaro
      @markconigliaro 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I don't own hoops, but I did try them with someone's mini hoops at one point and I was able to do it fine after a few minutes of adjusting. I don't think I had to change any angles or planes for it (this is assuming when you hold your arm straight and hold the hoop at the top, it doesn't touch the ground, if it does, you'll need to adjust). I've watched some hoopers do the trick and they do it a bit different. They throw it much further back than I do. It's more of a roll to the back instead of a flop down to the side. I'm not sure if it's because they use bigger hoops and that's how they compensate (if the hoop touches the floor when arms are straight, catching them behind you gives a little extra clearance) or that's just how they learned it. Hope that helps!

    Awesome trick and super tutorial! I've started to learn this and meanwhile I'm also learning "lazies" with clubs, so a quick question: I find the "feel" for those two tricks to be very similar, is it correct?

    • @markconigliaro
      @markconigliaro 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Arm motion, posture, where you look, they're basically the same trick. It's the small details that separate them (mainly, contact with the body vs no contact).
