Is there any trick to fix stuck gears in JD 2155

I've just figured out where this is I live down the road. I spent many harvests as a kid watching a Claas Dominator 108sl and sitting on a tool box in the cab. I went on to have a few tractors myself on hedgecutters ,including a Massey 2640 and McConnell Pa 35

It was fantastic to visit your farm back in the spring. So much interesting old machinery. I could quite happily have stayed and played with all of the lovely old tractors and combines. Did you get a contractor to do your combining this year? Your hillside John Deere and your Gleaner are still a little bit poorly aren't they.

The man who started the knight sprayer company is called Ron Knight. He is massive on the combine preservation scene. He doesn't do it any more as he has retired from all the restoration projects. He was on TV salvage squad about 15 years ago doing up a Massey Harris 780. He has probably the most unique collection of harvest machinery almost certainly in the Uk possibly the world. He made some walker blocks for my Gleaner. When i went to collect them he was restoring a Marshall self propelled combine from a heap of scrap using 2 photos of it in the 50s to make the bits he didnt have. Only 2 prototype machines were made that is one of them the other has long gone.

Incredible commitment and effort sustained over a long period.

Das't have different between this and 2640

We had two 955 combines for years until we bought an 1177 in 2004. This 965H would have been a great machine back then
