NBA is damaged goods. It’s blatantly obvious it’s staged. Technicals and whatnot and the general bore of the games. It would actually be cool if it was rigged. But it’s clear both teams are in on it, and are paid the millions to justify faking it like WWE. 4 hours of watch time for one game that is 30 minutes of actual play and 3:30 hours of commercials and underwhelming talking heads, and obnoxious commentators (“announcers” as they are termed”). I registered the word “failed product” when I saw this comment but took a few whiles to see it says terrible product. The NBA has been a failed product for a gnarly while since 2023 and is as fake as wrestling. As Lebron appeared to argue, “it’s just basketball”. I haven’t watched NBA this year and seems only like 1% of the country keeps up with NBA. Not surprising.

​@@gonzalo4658Probably every sport nowadays looks fake like WWE tbh. Superbowl was trash, the whole agenda was to make chiefs champs because of swifties. Boxing nowadays looks same. If a fighter is rich (like those Paul bitches) then we know who is winning and who is taking a dive otherwise refs or judges are there to save the day. Even European soccer feels like rigged with absolute insane number of last minute winners for one Spanish club Real Madrid. But coming to NBA, 4 hours of watchtime with only mere 48 minutes of actual basketball with shit tons of commericals between timeouts and the so called unbiased announcers ruining the game with players flopping consistently and pushing agenda for certain players with good for nothing basketball shows everything wrong with nba.

But the other sports at least have lit sporting events. Basketball is too easy to be staged and have 200 fake technical calls per season because it has no real sporting event. The NBA is gonna lose money fast. Cities would rather fund opera houses, highways, skyscrapers, outdoor malls, and NFL arenas than a goofy ass basketball team. Basketball used to be cool professionally but now it is too expensive for fans. +1111111111
