Great list- thanks! I also love Radical Tarot 💕
@@Grace-lw4hd I just got that for my birthday and I'm so excited to get into it!
oh my gosh, you did such a great job! I love it
@@pureredvelvet thank you so much!!!
The deck is beautiful. Congratulations 🎉
@@lbr88x30 thanks so much! 🙏🏻
I have just recently bought the Chakra wisdom tarot deck and I really like it.
@@andreaborbas9450 I really like it too! The guidebook especially is so full of useful information.
Loved these answers, especially the last one!
You're cute 😘

Hello! Thank you very much for joining in my video challenge. It's been wonderful seeing how other readers answer these questions. I'll add your channel to my original video with this hashtag. ~ Marilyn
@@MarilynFromTarotClarity thanks so much for watching and creating such a fun tag!
Labyrinthos is one of my favorite sites. I’m very interested in getting her book!
Great video. I have a few of these books and I just ordered The Poet’s Tarot. Thanks for sharing. 😊
@@thefoolsapprentice thanks for watching!
This would be a great tag for both tarot and Oracle. I love the decks you chose for this. Several of them are now on my wish list, including the Hieronymus Bosch tarot, the Kawaii tarot, and the housewives tarot. Like you mentioned, I have been a bit Drawn into the new shiny or shadowy decks that are popular recently. So I could use a more lighthearted, playful deck in my collection. I do have the Sweet foragers tarot by Sam rook which is a very silly and playful deck. And the playful heart tarot. Both fall into this category for me. Thanks for sharing!
@@megadele65 I tried to make the oracle video into a tag but I did not have enough followers for that haha. Playful Heart has been on my wishlist for so long but it's so expensive especially with shipping to the UK. Glad you found a few more decks you're interested in 😁
Hello! I love finding new-ish channels! And I loved this video! I am always looking for a good tarot book. I see you have a part one of this series so I am going to go back and watch that now. I have only been studying tarot for about 2 years, so I’m still in that stage where I’m just learning to read cards intuitively, but I still rely on books. I just ordered the poets tarot as well as tarot therapy. Whenever I pull a card, I always consult multiple tarot books to see how different authors interpret the cards. It’s one of my favorite things about studying tarot. Looking forward to watching some of your earlier videos!
@@megadele65 thanks so much for watching! I also love consulting different books to see their interpretations. I think that's the best way to create the definitions that work best for you - by seeing what resonates and leaving what doesn't
Absolutely love the intro musiac
@@magicalmindtransformation3474 haha it's so fun right??
Hello!! I'm glad that you continued to work on the books and made another video for us <3 There are really few video recommendations on the topic of tarot, and even fewer “new” books in the recommendations, most of the books are repeated. It’s nice that in your videos I can always highlight something interesting for myself. I agree about the book "Tarot by numbers", I'm literally finishing reading it now. I like the way it’s written, especially considering that I know absolutely nothing about numerology ahah I have Tina Gong’s book, but haven’t started it yet. Now, thanks to your tip, I found the Understanding tarot and I’ll be glad to read it too. Thanks for the review!!
@@shanacarter6396 yeah I always see the same books mentioned in videos and generally they are not for me 🤭 so it was nice to showcase some books that work for me and maybe other people too!
I love minimalism behind this deck and how some of the cards have "silly" type too 😂 I mean I fr don't like some lenormand decks for being full of images 😅 So your deck is nice <3 What did you end up calling it?
@@shanacarter6396 haha same! I hate when they're cluttered. Lenny decks should deffo just have objects and not scenes. I ended up calling it the Cheeky Vintage Lenormand!
@@shanacarter6396 and thanks for your kind words about the deck 🙏
@@cheapwitch what a cool name ✨
I have WTF is tarot and the numinous tarot books and I love both. The numinous was my first book about tarot that I have read from 1 page till the end tbh ahah
@@shanacarter6396 I can totally see why The Numinous Tarot was the first book you read from start to finish. It's so engaging!
@cheapwitch Yes!! I love those stories and I actually remember most of them when I work with tarot deck. It was so good to remember cards based on stories that can happen in our life. Glad that I found that book and also I really enjoyed WTF is tarot, especially again I liked those stories about Court families. It was so fun to read 😂 So your recommendations are truly on point. I will definitely check up for kitchen table tarot. Thank you <3
@@shanacarter6396 I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video but the Kitchen Table Tarot book was one I read cover to cover!
I have the WTF is Tarot book and I love it! I typically reach for it. I found her deck online and it's called "Wayhome Tarot"....thinking of buying it. Fantastic, video, thanks for recommending some books that I haven't seen before!
Thanks so much for watching! Glad you were able to find some new books. I've been eyeing up the Wayhome Tarot too 👀
Omg youre right, Morgan's Tarot is totally a Shower Thoughts deck.
Glad to know it's not just me who sees it 😅
Such great -- and original -- choices. I've added a few to my list. I'd avoided Mindful Tarot due to a few bad reviews online, but it's now at the top of my TBR list. Thanks!
Oh I had no idea that Mindful Tarot had a bad rap! I've always found it great. So glad that you found this video useful 🙏
I love this! Im going with The Cheeky Lenormand because I feel like that encompasses it's vibe.
Thank youuuuu! I'm leaning towards that too tbh. It just feels apt.
Eh, you! I've missed yoouuuu!!! xo 🥰📚

I really hear you and indeed, fear is normal I think in these times. I am not a manifestation gal either and think it is over-hyped, I prefer a more gentle route of "I am doing the best I can..." Congrats on finishing the vlogmas and wishing you all the best for 2022 ❄️

Ooh how did you italicise this??
@@cheapwitch you add the _ before and after the sentence or word you want to italicize. You can also bold by doing the same but using the * before and after. And then there’s the strike through as well using - before and after. _italics_ *bold* -strike through-
@@RootsAndWaves Wow! I knew you could do that in messaging but not here! Always learning. Thanks Ang!

I like the lighting here. Don't know how it will work if you're trying to display cards, but for this one at least it works well, IMHO. I can relate to wanting to feel your independence. I learned something valuable after decades of stoicism, though, when I had a potentially deadly illness. If there are people who really care about you and want to help in some way, letting them help can be a kindness to *them*. It can make feel less helpless about the situation and let them feel that they are at least doing *something*. Letting a friend or loved one help can be good for them, even if you don't really feel like you need the help.
Yes that is so true! I recently read something that said 'people want to be helpful' which totally relates to this. Like I need to give up some of that power and let people help me because it benefits us all.
🦛I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas 🦛 🎄🎁 Yesss! I love this song and you described it perfectly! It really does have a Shirley Temple vibe to it, although it was sung by a 10 year old by the name of Gayla Peevey. Did you know that The Oklahoma City Zoo actually raised money to buy Gayla a hippo for Christmas?! She then had to "give it" to the zoo and that was the Oklahoma City Zoo's first hippo! 🦛
Omg I had no idea!!! That's such a cool little fact!

Thank you for sharing. I think the Hanged Man card can often be misunderstood so thank you for sharing why this is your favorite card. This card has a couple of specific, and personal, meanings for me so I really love it too - although I chose something different for my Day 3 prompt. 🌟
Hi there! Oh wow, I actually spoke about the light/shadow side of the holiday season in both of my #TarotVlogmas2021 videos so far! I think it's so important to consider and I also feel we can all relate to this on some level. As joyful and happy as the holidays can be, it's not always cookies and cheer.
