Thieves are typically phonies in general. They have to be in order to pull off not being suspected as a thief. But using AI to create writing or art? For further consideration: What is it called when you take something that doesn't belong to you?

Ha ha! Sad but true. But we can turn it around if we all get on board otherwise too bad. Timestamp missed. Hope it doesn't come to it but I'm not naive either. Greed is a powerful thing, sadly, and brings out the worst in people. It really shouldn't be part of the arts but it is, like in any business. I just wish people would get out of denial that they're stealing. Theft is not something to take lightly.

I wasn't 100% sold on it at the first. Maybe 95% lol Ultimately, it was the black and white that made me do it because black and white comics are a fave (not talking just uncolored comics like the Batman: Black and White series). Stuff like Sin City, Cerebus, From Hell, American Splendor--all comics illustrated purposefully for black and white pages using pen and ink skills and tricks to make up for no color. Cerebus, to me, is the pinnacle of what can be achieved with black and white art. Between Sim and Gerhard, color is completely unnecessary and the pages are beautiful, especially after they found their working groove together. And, of course, for this figure, seeing Batman in Japanese on the packaging is pretty darn cool.

That was a big win. He was stacked on top of a Funko display with some other figures and a couple other Toony ones. I saw the Joker first, went, "Whoa. Wait," then poked through the pile. Found two Supermans so did a card comparison for mintage. I picked the one I did because, though the other one was in perfect shape, the plastic of the bubble was slightly past the edge of the bottom of the card on one side. Though kinda neat, that disconnect might lead to a glue issue down the road so I opted for the one you saw.

Good to know. Who's Robin, then?

Yeah. Thanks. The Toony one, this is/was my third effort getting it from Amazon. I don't know if it's just cheap glue across the production line or if it was storage conditions that dried it out hence the partial detach? Right now the plan is to send it back yet again and maybe find another retailer if the price point is right. I have a threshold for action figures/action figure types so for this one, I have a max in mind but definitely no higher.

That is one of the reasons for this open letter video. I fully recognize I'm a small voice in a big pond, but at least it was stated. Feel free to share this video with others who you might think are at risk. I was once taken advantage of way early in my writing career. I do not want that for anyone else.
