How to Travel for FREE with Credit Card Churning
Credit card Churning is a very easy way to travel for free. Anyone can credit card churn if you know what you are doing and it doesn't hurt your credit score at the end of the day. As long as you space out the cards that you applied for and earned the welcome bonus for.

Welcome back to the channel, I'm Jacob Fisher and today we have a topic that can be pretty lucrative if done right and that is credit card churning. You can do this a number of ways and it can be especially lucrative with business credit cards, but in this video we are just talking about consumer credit cards. Let's answer the questions, which are the best credit cards for credit card churning and how do you even do it in the first place?
First we can briefly answer what is credit card churning and that is the process of applying for new credit cards to hit the welcome bonus and doing that over and over again to get a ton of points. You can actually do this with some credit cards multiple times.
How do you apply for a bunch of credit cards to hit the welcome bonus and not tank your credit score though? There's a couple factors into this, but what can be super helpful is applying for cards every 6 months.
Something you can do to bolster your credit score is having a set 2-4 credit cards you never cancel so that way your average age of credit won't be affected too much by applying for new credit cards. You also need to be mindful of your balances and available credit. If you have 2-4 credit cards in the backburner that you don’t use while churning, then your utilization will be low, but you have to make sure to not miss a payment across any of your credit cards.
That's why for credit card churning I would recommend only using the credit card you are trying to get the bonus on during the time it takes you to get the bonus. After you get the bonus, just don’t use the credit card anymore, you can cancel it, because that way you ensure you don’t have a balance on the card and you wont miss a payment. Finally, along the lines of balances, make sure you aren't overspending to try and hit a welcome bonus. Find a welcome bonus that fits in your monthly spend. If you spend $1500 a month then a card that requires a $6000 spend in 3 months just won't work for you.
All in all, have a collection of standard credit cards that are a few years old to bolster your credit score and only use the churning card when churning to avoid any chances of missed payments, but what are the best credit cards for churning?
Any credit card with an elevated sign up bonus is perfect. The chase sapphire preferred has a 100k sign up bonus right now after spending $4000 in 3 months. These points can be transferred out to many airline and hotel partners. The capital one venture earns you 100k bonus miles after spending 20k in 12 months. The platinum card has a 75k bonus, the same as the gold card. The marriott credit cards have anywhere from a 50,000 bonus point offer to 100,000 bonus points if you wanted to get specific hotel points. Delta has anywhere from 10,000 bonus miles to 50,000 bonus miles. United has a similar 10,000 to 100,000 bonus miles.
Really the card you should go for depends on what you are planning to do the next few months. If you are going to be flying united or staying at a marriott then go for a branded credit card, but if you are not sure then it doesn't hurt to rack up Amex, Chase or Capital one points to help give you options.

I day trade the large tech stocks and use Tradestation for stock trades. Think or swim is too slow for stocks but works well for options. I use TOS for charting because the moving averages in Tradestation don't seem to be correct to me and are not the same as e-Signal if you put them side to side. Tradestation has been around forever.

One thing I wish TH-camrs mentioned is they welcome offer switches throughout the day between $250 and $300 dollars. So if it says 250 keep checking every couple hours until it’s 300.

I really appreciate the opinion. Short and clearn. So far, I've only used ThinkOrSwim and Etrade. ThinkOrSwim has alot of information, but could be overwhelming for the new trader. Etrade, I've been with for over 10 years, their reporting is getting worse and worse. For me, I feel like I have a solid foundation, and could tell the the account value is going up, but I'm the type that likes to micromanage. eTrade reporting just seemed incorrect to me. (totals were usually correct, and were going up). The recommendations, and stock screener are nice. I'll be shopping for my next broker.

My favorite broker is Lightspeed it is not for everybody because it's professional one and it you need to have over 25k however very expensive but executions for fast traders is unmatched. I do want a have small cash account somewhere beside that I am using TOS but it seems to be lagging too much lately so I am considering a switch.

While Tastytrade offers cash accounts, you're limited in the types of options trades you can execute. No options spreads are allowed in the cash accounts, so...back to a margin account for me.

I plan to stay loyal to Hilton but also join Hyatt to expand my options. I prefer Hilton for resort stays and whenever Hyatt is not available due to their fewer locations compared to Hilton and Marriott. For conference stays, I prefer Hyatt. I do not have a favorable opinion of Marriott since they are owned by Mormons, and I am unsure if they are accepting of the LGBTQ+ community. However, my opinion may be biased. Additionally, Marriott partners with United Airlines, which I would prefer to avoid. Lastly, I find Hilton's credit card to be better than Marriott's.

@@7evintheproducer Yeah, I actually got out of the swing trading and just went with mutual funds and ETFs instead. Right now, I'm going with T. Rowe Price, Fidelity, and Schwab. They've all got some good products, plus with Schwab, you can buy up dividend stocks and just let those ride if you prefer. I think it also gives one more layer of protection, in that the pro traders are doing all the trading and sending it to the funds.
