We are working on this 2001 35ft Cabo where the Glendinning NBS control system needed an update after 24 years. Glendinning products last a lifetime, especially with the proper amount of maintenance. Look at this Cabo for example: the starboard actuator gave out due to the motors finally giving up, but instead of replacing the whole system, we only needed to swap out the starboard actuator with one that is refurbished by us. Always fun to watch! Hey I have a piece of soft foam to kneel on that is maybe 16” x 16” and 2” thick on one side and about 5” on the other and its pretty nice to sit or kneel on in a bilge. Levels things up a little. Also, what is the random 4” hose clamp hanging on the white pipe at 8:06? See it on the white pipe crossing between the exhaust pipes?
I’m going to look into those foam pads, this engine room gave me a nice bruise on my back lol cause of those oil filters.
But that random hose clamp was left like that before we were installing the new equipment. So we just left it alone cause it could be something the captain isn’t utilizing at the moment
