@@sinverrette9803 I thought the same thing since they already have alcohol.. I guess it is easy to use if they are in bottles with brushes since they do dry out quick.. but still you 'could' just put a drop on a regular paint brush and use a small dish of alcohol to dip with.. I still found the video interesting tho .. the marble reminds me of Easter eggs
You are correct 😄 it would be so much easier to buy the alcohol inks ready to go, especially since there are so many more options now, this is just an idea for customizing colors and saving money with how much pigmented alcohol ink you get in these Jacquard Pinata Color Alcohol Inks. The added alcohol and mini polish bottles just help with better application, pouring straight out of the the original container can be messy. Amazon has so many more options now for alcohol inks that are affordable, this was made during the pandemic when nothing was available. 💕
OK, I too am frustrated by a cJS plate. It seems that is so rounded on the edge, right where a large design sits, that polish just won't work on it. Like you, I've used 1/2 bottle on several tries, but unfortunately no success. I can stamp with other plates and polishes, so I don't think it's just my technique. Anyone have this problem? Ones in the center will pick up, but not the CUTEST ones along the rounded edge. Argh! Help!

90% alcohol works 100x better for this
Try to do a layer of matte top coat and then add the inks.
Did they dry out after awhile of being in the polish bottles?

70% alcohol

@@raya74 Yes, rubbing alcohol just from Walgreens, I made this video in the middle of the pandemic with little alcohol options 😬🙈 but hey! It worked! I should make an updated video!!

Very helpful, thanks! What type of alcohol and what percent, i.e. 70% rubbing/isopropyl alcohol from Walmart or 99% ethanol aka Everclear from the liquor store?

Wow .. awesome job. At end I finally exhaled ., haha, when I do my own nails I hold my breath for whatever reason & I realized at the end of this I was doing the same while watching YOU paint haha. It's very very hard to pick a favorite .. but if I HAD to, it would be the black on white BR, that literally looked like natural marble👏 & I think it was the red one, that kinda looks coral/salmon on camera .. just gorg. The emerald was a show though all on its own, fantastic colour coming through. Thanks .. & yes I love watching other artists work, I can't imagine why you wouldn't, but each to their own eh? As artists we know that that is a fact👈h😬☺️🙋 hi from OZ 💅

As a die-hard Clear Jelly stamper fan and someone who's been stamping for about 10 years, I found this video soooo relatable. A lot of people love the idea of layered stamping but are then so shocked at the learning curve (I was too at first). It's almost as if you have to learn all over again. I think it's even better that you left your mistakes in the video. This will be so useful for people who are new to these plates.

love it! how long was shipping?
From the day I ordered it, until it reached my mail box, I think total was 7 days, she makes these to order, so the processing time took longer than the shipping. I checked on her website yesterday and she had to pause orders for these because the demand is so high, so I’m unsure how long shipping might be now. I hope this helps!
