As a visitor to the Berwickshire, Northumberland and North Tyneside coast you will be sharing our sea and beaches with some of the most important wildlife in the UK. Creatures such as birds and seals can easily become stressed or injured in the presence of people but there are some simple ways in which you can avoid disturbing wildlife. Perhaps the most important is to be aware of the signs that wildlife is reacting to your presence and to change your behaviour accordingly.
