roleplay is a key in next es game. i firmly believe decline of bethesda games has started the dev focusing on making a game more adventure like. that was the wrong focus. if they put priority on roleplay aspect in starfield, rest of element in making great rpg takes place automatically.

After the failure of Starfield, will Bethesda learn its lesson and put more effort into writing?

Im already a old man. I remember buying arena when it was released and playing it. I had a bad car accident right before Skyrim came out and was laid up for s long time. I had it preorder and had a friend pick it up for me. That game got me through a hard time. Then around 7 years later i was diagnosed with Colon cancer and non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I jad never dtopped playing Skyrim but i started playing it more on PC and creation club helped a lot. So that game has a special place in my heart. To be honest im looking forward to Skyblivion because i know i may actually see it released before TES 6. I fought hard and im in remission thank God. I just recently broke out my first Xbox and replayed Morrowind. do much i forgotten about that game and i lot i missed. I have thousands of hours in Oblivion snd Skyrim though and still love them both. Still love just playing the vanilla versions on my old consoles. I think after the Fallout show though they will try to make TES show before they even thinking about releasing the game. The fallout show was decent i guess but maybe it was just me but the writing for most of the characters was awful. I do look foreard to season 2 just because theyre going to New Vegas thought. 2 and New Vegas are some if my favorite games. Just like the original Diablo. I still play it and remember well buying it and playing it on my old Dell. Lol. Hopefully Skyblivion will ne good. I think thats all were going to see for awhile. I think it will be and i look forward to it.

I don't know what ES6 will be on a technical level once it releases, the only thing I know is that it will be very far behind every other game releasing at the same time.

I'm personally not exactly happy that it's set to only come out on Xbox and PC. I used to own an Xbox Series X, and have played Xbox since the Xbox 360, but recently I got a PS5 and gave my Xbox away, so now to learn that the game I was really excited to see become Xbox exclusive honestly really sucks, and it also means all future Fallout titles will also be Xbox exclusive, which is a game series I like more than The Elder Scrolls. I know my comment isn't really productive or adds much to the debate or argument, it's kind of just me lamenting the fact I'll never get to see the futures of game series I really enjoy, unless I buy another Xbox, which I don't really intend to do.

I hope they add a similar feature where you are able to create a camp such as like in fallout 4 and 76, but obviously more of a medieval designs, we had heartfire DLC in Skyrim and it was good but compared to fallout the building is nowhere near as fun

I would love a large game, that could be modded heavily. Heavily enough to allow for full on player DLC. And I am open to decent size DLC later on to expand the game.

I am no longer excited about this game. Bethesda has lost its way.

I hope there isn't to much condition management, it made my starfield character feel heavy to operate. I like interesting game mechanics like building weird buildings in fallout 4, and exploration, I wish the quest weren't so easily discovered, in starfield the quest flew at you without having to discover them, and the gear didn't feel satisfying because the power of it is to heavily tied to skills. I would like to see more dynamic A.I movements and daily schedule. Also the dumby NPC scattered in the town break the immersion, I'm fine with less NPC, as long as they are dynamic and interesting. Needless filler tends to just add bloat, it doesn't add value to fun.

ES6 is gonna suck. I think the game will be great, but it will ultimately fall short of expectations. They have taken so long. Nothing they put out will match the build up.

I’m really glad we have ESO, Skyblivion, Apotheosis, and all that to keep giving us new ES content in the meantime, otherwise that’s a 15 year gap. Absolutely ridiculous

At this point, i wish Bethesda would hire the artist/programmers responsible for all those ESO cinematic shorts, to do a feature length film. Maybe a series. That would be awesome and wouldn't take as long as this damn game .

This will end up like the 3rd hunger games movie, when it did come out, almost no one cared. I didn't even realize they were still doing those movies and had no interest in seeing it. Unless Microsoft gets involved and has some of its other studios help get them out, I won't care.

Everyone knows Elder Scrolls 6 won't come out until another hugely popular fantasy movie trilogy/TV show comes out for Bethesda to ride the coattails of. Oblivion had Lord of the Rings, Skyrim had Game of Thrones.

I’m a Bethesda /Todd Howard apologist but even I’m like “WTF?!” After FO76 and Starfield….and six years since the teaser. Seeing the amount of effort, or lack thereof, applied to recent projects; I’m not optimistic. I’m hopeful and I shouldn’t be. My fear; that’s mods and mod packs like LoreRim have pushed Skyrim beyond what ES VI will be. ESPECIALLY seeing that they’re still using the creation engine.
