An intimate and progressive short-form drama series following an ensemble cast of six ambitious creatives navigating their thirties in Los Angeles. This is a story of jaded hope, friendship, and the search for radical authenticity. But we need your HELP to make this series a reality! We are currently crowdfunding at www.wwguseries.com so that we can film the first season of this show in early 2...
Very hard very painful i had this experience
does anyone know the name of the song that plays during the credits?
Great Short in every sense of the word. The direction, cinematography, editing and acting were just beautiful and perfect. Never met Michael King but I know he is a great talent as we almost worked on a project years ago.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our short film! Mike King is such a talented actor and we’re so glad you enjoyed his work here.
Wow!!!!!! ❤
He done her wrong--he's not 18, this isn't the 1950s. And I'm gay.
“It burnt my life to the f*cking ground”..,…”OUR life Grayson, me and you, both of us…”. 😢
WOW so gorgeous 🙂
Thank you for watching! Please share.
It would have been nice for him to apologize for hurting her and causing so much upheaval in her life. It wouldn't have detracted from him happily living his truth.
Just… Wow 💔
WOW! That was truly beautiful...and real... and well done. Superb!!!!!
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts. 🙏
more than you know.
WOW BRAVO!
Okay, you definitely get a subscribe for that one. I'm a mess. Absolutely fantastic. We definitely need a sequel to this, to continue the story.
Thank you so much for watching and for subscribing! We are so proud of how this film turned out. Please share 🙏
Me encantó!! Muy romántica, super sencilla, emotiva y transmite un mensaje muy claro : " el corazón es el que manda "💖
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!
We have all (or most of us) suffered a broken heart. Losing a partner to a new person or a new life still hurts for the one left behind. I have felt everything she felt and still do. Hard to believe all those emotions were expressed in such a short film. Well done.
Thank you so much. This story came from lived experiences. We are so proud of how this film turned out. Please share
You should try adding a couple kids whom you both adore to the mix!
Very good. I lived exactly this years ago... that was hard. But the beauty of the 15 years with her, will last within my heart forever
… a very poignant moment in the lives of human beings… beautifully presented in film… I just wonder how he might have behaved if SHE had found “happiness” with another woman…
I hate that for her………….
You unknowingly put them together, help them find themselves, and end up having someone else enjoy the product of your love and care. This one really resonated.
Whoever put him in that gray top should not repeat the mistake. Nice touch on the blackboard: ‘fun’.
Beautiful and sad
Thank you so much for watching! Please share if you can.
Excellent actors, writing, producing. Great work guys.. The story was so gut wrenching and the actors didn’t miss an opportunity to make you feel. Seeing him start to break down when the taxi drives off.. made my heart sink.. and seeing the tears falling down her face.. said they truly loved each other. I would love to see a follow up a few years later. I would love to know if his relationship lasted and if she found someone to heal her broken heart!
Thank you sooo so much for taking the time to watch our film and to share your thoughts. We really are so proud of our first short film! And we agree our actors really did the thing. They are so talented and it was an honor to have them help tell my story. Please share our film if you can🙏 we really appreciate it.
Beautiful ❤️
We’re so glad you enjoyed it! Please share with your friends
The film was short but so full of raw emotion, exceptional acting and realism. I felt so bad for these two young people. Im glad it was not a movie or a series because the audience would have had to endure the pain of actually seeing the relationship fall apart and I liked both of the characters. So let me just say this was excellent film making and I look forward to your other projects.🙂
Thank you so much for taking the time to not only watch our film but to also share your thoughts. We are really proud of this one as it was our first film project ever. It’s based on real events in my own life. We do a feature length version of this idea that we have been writing:) We would greatly appreciate sharing this film if you can!
@@landryandhaynes No problem, I can do that.😊
A beautifully cruel film. Men know exactly who they are from day one, even at a primal level. You don’t try to cover your insecurities with another and then realize you need to be free. Step outside of the bubble long enough to know that what you think you need is truly not what you want. Be honest with yourself if no one else.
Sarah Hagi - from Scamfluencers - said it poignantly when she reminded us that ‘divorce is always an option.’ I was in a relationship with a man who was sexually confused; we are definitely not friends; it took me a long time to finally pack my things and walk the f**k away, plunging myself into unknown and having to change the entire trajectory of my own life-path. The point is: no matter who it affects, no matter how big the consequences seem, no matter how treacherous the pain may feel, the other side of a divorce is necessary and it teaches you to be strong.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts
This film should have 100s of 1000 views. It’s a mini masterpiece in 9 minutes. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our short film. This was me and my husband’s very first film project and we couldn't be more proud of it. Please continue to share and get the word out.
This short film does not really feel like a LGBT what-ever. It is very interesting and I REALLY like it, but is a straight story with a small gay chapter.
Grayson left his wife Sarah because he's gay. So it was a faux hetero couple. Far from being a small chapter, the gay part dominates the entire story.
@@marecku21 Grayson left his wife because he was in love with another person, which is often the cause of the end of a lot of couples. This third person is in this "incident" another guy. These kinds of cases end up with the guy hiding his not-so-straight side, and dumping the other guy. This situation is different, the story has a respectful ending, which is a good thing, but the story "per se" just shows a line of "straight" pictures and situations about a divorce. BTW there are no such things as "faux" straight couples. Almost half of humanity - without religious taboos - has a fluid sexuality. And if you didn't know, regulation of sexuality gives excellent leverage to instrumentalize humans in every self-destructive way that you could think of and opens every possible door to abuse them. There is always a political organization behind these kinds of manipulative ways. Churches, States, or pharmaceutical companies, the names are different, but the goal is always the same!
Well done! You presented a very layered and interesting narrative featuring engaging characters whose vulnerabilities are relatable.
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing. We are so proud of how this one turned out.
The feeling when you realise that clock has run out on a relationship is such a complicated mix of sadness, relief and everything in between. If it really meant something then something of your future identity as well as your current one gets all jumbled up. This was so well observed. Thank you
Great acting. I lowkey wish this was a show lol
Wow, what a touching story. Real life, so well explained.
Beautiful film, well acted but it's not heartwarming. It's sad. When Grayson should have been coming to terms with his sexuality, he caved to society's perceived norms for acceptance and married. And when he did finally admit his desires, he ruined another person's life. "You get to move on. I have to." Sad, but all too often true.
I lived this short of the marriage. However, I'm pleased to say that we are still friends, best friends, to this day.....47 yrs. since the day we met. My life without her would be completely shattered. You can love someone with your whole heart and still not be able to love them the way they need to be loved.
I could not have said it better! My ex wife is my best friend and we still work together every day. She also adores my partner! It just worked out for the best except I don't like the way her current husband treats her.
@@djstangerdude remind him that people disappear all the time. That will rattle him.
Very sweet flick!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Excellent! One of the best things I’ve seen on TH-cam. Beautifully written, produced and acted. Bravo.
Stunning work. I felt the pain, heartache, bitterness, resentment, sorrow, and love between the two leads. You found two amazing actors and your entire crew did amazing work. Thank you for sharing your personal story. That takee courage. I'm glad your ex-wife was supportive of who you are, despite the emotional pain she was in. I hope both of your lives are fulfilling and happy these days. ❤️
This was exactly how my own marriage ended......how its all so real all over again....
I wish it was that easy to end the relationship. And then, "It's another sweet story of the free people living in a free world". However, this is an excellent short which does, in the best possible way, what a story or a film in this case is supposed to do, connect with the audience in a purely emotional way. Weldon Michael Landry and the rest of the team. Love from Pakistan ❤
Thank you for the love.
the acting is spectacular this short film is better and deeper and more exciting than many 1h30m+ movies i've watched recently
Thank you so much for the kind words. We appreciate you taking the time to watch and share
Wow such a beautiful short! The acting, editing, story are all so well done really! Truly moving! I could feel their pain and love for each other. Thank you for capturing the more nuanced and complex forms of love and relationships that exist among us!
Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it. It was a labor of love for sure.
“I did the only thing that I could and that was to burn my life to the ground.” Uhhhh no. You burned *her* life to the ground. It’s exactly what the wife said: You get to start a new life, while she *has* to start a new life. As in she has no other choice. She has no choice but to wake up every morning knowing the man she fell in love with never loved her and is never coming back. She has no choice but to grieve and feel like she wasn’t good enough. You on the other hand get to be who you were meant to be. Your misery is over. Do NOT compare your pain to hers! Note: Yes, I’m aware it’s only a story. But things like this happen all the time. And it’s devastating.
Great short film - loved the videography, there's great chemistry as well! It evokes different emotions for different reasons but it tells a great story.
Da gusto ver un corto tan bien hecho! Felicitaciones por tan buen trabajo! Y felicitaciones al actor, excelente, la verdad. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I like her
This is very beautiful 👏👏
Thank you for watching. Please share:)
Not about actors or actress it's the contents in film that matters.....
WOW, my tears drop, I'm so touch with this short film like..I'm hurt. They really care for each other, nice acting and they convey the message like natural flow, you can feel the blow. The message is great and the creation, I just felt I'm in there physically. Stories like this happened and sadly not all ending like this, accepting and understanding even it hurts, mostly end up messy, tough being an enemy.
