Galaxy Arts Center is Southern California's largest Chinese musical performing group. Established in 2004, we are a dedicated performing group that promote a unique assimilation Chinese and Western styles of music and spread awareness of Chinese music to everyone around the world.
Our organization consists of youth performers from 5 to 19, and adult performers from 30 and on. Our performers specializes in various Chinese instruments such as erhu, dizi, suona, guzheng, yangqin, hulusi, drums/percussion and many more.

Our Music & Arts Charity Summer Camp is uniquely designed for an authentic, first-hand experience in Chinese culture. From the birthplace of Confucius to Beijing’s Central Conservatory of music, our journey is packed with many destinations with access to the culture, food, music, and life style of each community. Our students not only volunteer, interact, and perform Chinese instruments for the locals, they also get to share their talent and love for the arts with those across the world.

笛子名曲《秦川抒怀》取材于陕北地方戏曲音乐，激扬豪放抒发对欣欣向荣的秦川由衷地赞美之情。此曲为笛子演奏家马迪于一九八○年所创作，在海内外影响极广，多次被指定为国内及国际笛子大赛的决赛曲目，受到了专家和同行们的高度赞扬。于1989年4月获“全国民族乐器电视大奖赛”优秀作品奖。
