I am a former student of Eastdale High and a Canadian Army Veteran. I served 22 years as a Logistician mostly with first line units namely PPCLI, RCHA and Sigs in Germany. I joined in 1975 after graduating in 1974. I would visit the school when I was able to return home to visit my family. I seldom come back to Welland as I now reside in Calgary after retiring in 1996.

Hey, Joseph. I really enjoyed this and you capture some of the original power of this piece. Bright Sky is my all time favorite Cockburn song and for me it captures something our journey and something of heaven.
