I know I had a hell of time on elite trying to do this because tanks come out and that shattered my line every time and the artillery was not enough. End up becoming a desperate throw of everything in the last few minutes and you could lose after playing 18 mins I think the best you can do is try to always have the trench lined maned for max rifle coverage and in the most advanced 3 trenches have hand to hand combat units ready to right anything that comes into the trench

@@thepustka6773 The artillery I can deal with but once they throw in the gas...all bets are off and not to mention the need to take out those balloons.

@@andrewnlarsen yeah it just ends up being a lot at one time. Personal I would rather have retreated from that battle and not got hung up on holding that point. Just inflict as much damage to them as pissy while minimizing losses but it's not that objective for the scenario lol

@@andrewnlarsen I think so, keep your troops alive as long as possible. Typically historically the trenches are interconnected. Front line, Secondary and support trenches all interconnected. However, in many of my videos I did not connect them but stagger them so that each trench was isolated. On the defense you allow for the gas to come in and take on trench but keep your defense network in place. Pull the troops from one location into a 2ndary trench and then as the enemy troops come in you still have overlapping lanes of fire on them. Then after their assaults' you can counter assaults' or never assaults' the position. If they get into a front line trench and then they are connected they can re-enforce and spread through the network and they force you into hand to hand combat when rifle fire is best on the defense.

I definitely agree with you on the lack of gameplay and story meeting up. I think largely that is why I have enjoyed the ARMA 3 mod for this game so much. If you have ARMA 3, I highly encourage it. I haven't seen Battle LA, you recommend it?

@@thepustka6773 It's pretty cool for showing a more grounded alien invasion setting where the aliens fight as a ground force, using cover, setting up positions, evacuating casualties, etc. It's not the best film, but it's a really cool setting for seeing how it might really look for two advanced civilizations to clash

You'd probably like the spin off ODST. You don't play as a roided up super soldier in a suit of Armor equivalent to a tank. It's still halo but it's slower paced and requires a bit more tactical play

@@TheWinters63 I had not heard of ODST but that definitely sounds like what we are trying to capture in the ARMA experience for this mod. We specifically said we didn't want to be Spartans and that we wanted to be run of the mill soldiers and experience and up hill battle. Right now we are fighting UNSC forces but the covenant is coming in from the north and taking lands in our game, we haven't seen them yet but latter on our game will get significantly harder.

It's been one of best times we have had on Arma for sure! It's crazy to think that game is 10 years old this year and still going strong with all the DLC and mods. Such a great game.

That's why Spartans and marines had HUDs!

That is definitely something we found out when playing and if you watch anymore you can see how the warthog HMG is difficult to use or even the tripod version. However, we have alot of fun with the mod and have not made it to the covenant yet.

The idea is that the sight is projected using a hologram or augmented reality in the helmet of the solider using the firearm...at least that's what I've always assumed.

You have to have scanned the plant flora and found one that can be domesticated.

Website and updated manual say 5w-30. SUVs they recommend 0W-20. All other vehicles 5w-30.

According to my manual, 5W-30 is best. Reduces engine friction to improve gas mileage. Rated for 23 MPG in the city, currently getting on average 34MPG. Website states 0W-20 for SUVs, otherwise 5W-30 for there other vehicles. Thank you for your question!

I agree, however the save mechanic on this game is wonky and will unintentially move you forward. It may have been patched but as far as I know, it's a great game regardless!

When there is more then 2 countries located in a battle they suffer a debuff to morale due to disunity of command. Does not happen to the German powers.

Yes, but I did not adopt that strategy. I did not utilize siege artillery in any stage due to the resources involved. I put the balloons in the fronts so that I can get the most information for an attack. Additionally, I don't do the continuous trench. Hand to hand combat is not as effective as firing a rifle on at a target running straight at you. More damage is inflicted and if the trenches are broken apart, then the enemy has to come out to advance and take control point.

I really enjoyed it a lot, not going to have much replay appeal cause the choices would be rather minor I think but 10 hours to get through the whole game. Good game for a weekend play.

I do not have one on my car, typically just have to remember to change it every 10,000 miles and I am good to go. Really just depends on the quality of oil your using and what is is rated for.

@@thepustka6773 oh we have the same chev sonic, mine also doesn't have DIC menu, i was planning of changing oil on my own but im having doubt if i will get an error code 82 if i can not reset the oil life span indicator. so i guess i wont be getting those code..thanks for the reply :)
