Amazingly precise Griffon 380TD hovercraft training maneuvers

It's amazing to see how maneuverable these craft are and the person being taught got it even better the next time he tried
The instructor was really nice and said what they were doing. It was refreshing how he was a very nice man who seemed very accomplished and knowledgeable.
Apparently it takes 25 hours of training for piloting a Griffon 380TD hovercraft and 100 hours for the Griffin 12000TD.
The 380TD is at the Ryde terminal on the Isle of wight for training people.

This was the Westfield shopping centre in London at peak time, but it was empty due to coronavirus. Only Waitrose and Marks and Spencers were open, but you could walk through a lot of the shopping centre.

Having travelled in the AP-188 hovercraft, which were the predecessor to these, I am amazed at how quiet these hovercrafts are in comparison. The self-driving car pods are great, anyone can use them and not have to prove that they are parking at the car park. Today some of the screens were not working for ordering a pod, so had to press a button to call the central control to book a car for you...

There was a serious fire in a block of flats on 5th August 2018 at about 8pm. The fire brigade was amazing with an amazing person working really hard on the hose. A member of the public kept on talking to the fireman. The fireman told him to go away as he was not helping and getting in the way.
