I currently have air leaking from this area. Would this replacement fix this problem
I don’t think so. This is a fluid passage and no air should be getting to it. If air is coming out there, it should be coming out the cup area as well. The only way I can think of air getting in that area, would be through the nozzle, either a bad one or it’s not tightened enough. Let me know if this helpZ.

The spray can aircraft remover works incredible. Super quick and easy. Bubbles and starts stripping immediately

@@RONAKAWEED If u mean having it just run off and bead up on a 2nd or 3rd coat, yes I have. Luckily it was on a practice tank. I stopped using it. Too many issues for me.

I just read on the Comoany website that putting the Clean Armorer clear coat on too thickly can cause the wrinkles you were finding on your hat.
@@sherryleggett1612 Yes it can. I talked to the owner of the company a few times right after the helmet video. He helped me figure it out and wanted feedback from me about any other issues the arose. I found too many issues with it for custom paint and no longer use it. Found an awesome 15min clear coat that works as fast as the Clean Armor. ItZ called The Flash by Revolt Auto Paint.

Do you have to sand the 4050 adhesion coat before painting over it?
Nope. It has an open window. Can be painted over/on at anytime without sanding. Just make sure it’s completely dry and clean first.

@@BUBS_HD For sure. The promoter has a ‘57 Chevy and a ‘57 Nomad. So had to use the Bel Air font. He loved it. Not as clean as I like. Knocked down the paint edge with a plastic razor blade a lil too soon on the ‘Best’ lettering and smeared a lil paint🤦🏻♂️

Whats the best way to clear these. I'm having trouble painting both sides at the same time
I used the stand I was painting it on and the other I used an empty old gallon paint can. I don’t clear the inside of them, just clear around the bottom edges.

@@joejones6745 Yep. And workZ so good, when I tore down to clean it, I realized I never tightened down the nozzle, was finger tight, and it still laid glass!!!
I don't know how well you take criticism and it doesn't really matter to me, but what you have just shown is how to airbrush realistic flames inside-out. The theory of starting loose and ending tight is correct, but you sprayed the colors in reverse of the way they should be laid down. Its always light to dark. Not light, dark to light. The last color before the highlights should be the darkest color and then add highlights at the end. If youve been unable to figure out why your flames dont look right then now you have your answer. Youll be surprised how good the flames will look when done correctly. I hope that you use my advice and begin creating amazing realistic fire. By the way... Mike Lavalle was the undisputed king of True Fire. Watch the way he works and build up from that. Also, Craig Frazier is very good at this as well. Check out some of his videos. Side note: Theres no such thing as opaque candies. All candies are transparent.

I’d love for u to find and share any video of someone painting true fire light to dark. That is completely backwards🤦🏻♂️ I never said candies r opaque. I said u can use opaque colors if u don’t have candy. U obviously have not watched any of my other videoZ. I clearly know what I’m doing with candies. They’re my favorite thing to spray and I’d say I’m pretty good at it. Sorry but won’t be taking ur backwards advice. This video is quite old and was learning to do true fire. I’m much better now. Sure there is more recent fire in my Shorts videos. I’ve traveled the country to train with the best of the best the last 3yrs or so. And know where I stand. Even got selected to be one of 100 artists internationally to be in the Battle of the Boards. But would really love for u to post a link to a video of ANYONE painting true fire light colorZ to dark colorZ!!!

How big is your paint booth? What CFM are your ventilation fans? My booth is 9' W 9' L 7' H. The LPH80 124G and ANI F160S 1.9 Paint Guns. Thanks
@@lynntankersley4837 ItZ only 5’8” x 6’2” with a 6’4” ceiling. TINY!!! My 2 fans have 3 speeds. Both on low 2400cfm, on high 4200cfm. Works great. Depends on what I’m doing, I’ll adjust the speed, but usually run on low or medium. I have 2 20x20” and 2 20x14” house furnace filters as my inlet air. In the basement of my crappy 100+yr old house lol.

@@nachocheese5540 Probably. They make a corroded metals powder to use with it. There is a pickup tube they make for it so u can use powders.

what rotary buffer is that? Have you ever had a part fall from stand while buffing? I bought a Griots G9 CSI XX Compund. I gotta make a special table mount for Harley 5 gallon split tanks.
@@lynntankersley4837 ItZ a cheap Harbor Freight rotary. Haven’t had anything fall. I mount them with a bolt to my stands. I usually make a new mount for each different style tank so I can mount them. Or put them on a rubber ‘Welcome’ mat on a table to buff. ThatZ what I do with split tanks. CSI is awesome stuff, haven’t tried the XX yet but will when I run out of the regular stuff.

I just started using Indasa myself and I just can’t say enough about them! You’re 100% right that their 6 in DA disks are much better than the big 3m ! Nice video!
@@MOOR3NADO For sure. I’ve only used the foam sanding pads prior, and they’re great and last forever too. Definitely using them over 3M going forward. And love they do a custom paint competition. Great company!!!

Sure. Here’s a link for a 4 pack. I like to have multiples. One for bare metal, one for primer, base coat if needed, and another for clear coat. That way they don’t cross contaminate throughout the steps: amzn.to/4bUaAR7

Per every manufacturer, it should be measured/weighed to ensure proper chemistry. Same as all chemicals. I assume u measure base and clear coat per manufacturer recommendations? Incompetence would be not measuring or weighting mixed chemicals.
Shit son, I got you beat…😂 Get the scotch brite clean and strip XT Pro disc for your angle grinder… It’ll take anything down to bare metal in a hurry…😂 They will remove mill scale from hot rolled steel quick, fast and in a hurry… Paint and shit doesn’t stand a chance…😅 It’s crazy too because it just barely leaves any scratches… About like 600 grit sandpaper I suppose…
Nice! Might have to try that out. This is my tip for scuffing stuff to prepare for paint, not how I remove paint to bare metal.
