I can only imagine how hard the wolves here were headbanging to this bop when no one was around lol
Many people here do not realise that when G2 was released there were no horses meaning you couldn't outrun the bosses... so when you encountered a field boss, you either had to switch channel quickly or get mobbed to death... Edit: even without the field bosses, the brown wolves were quite strong by G2 standard, so most players including myself avoided travelling through this map to Emain Macha even though it's a faster route simply because it's too dangerous.
When I listen to this, I always imagine a wagon flying down a treacherous mountain road, fleeing the clutch of mounted asassasins. As their swords close in, a protector emerges from the wagon and cross blades with the killers giving chase.
I honestly would love Osna Sail to be re-designed to a more lore-significant and dangerous area in the game, but Bexon ain't gunna do that. And well, i don't think private servers can either, since I believe that the overworld map data is hard-coded or something like that. At least the theme is good enough to make me want that.
Epic tune, so much urgency in the music, that was on place i used to go hell for leather through on my Partners back especially if those weird wolf sheep things were about lol
first time i got there the music scared the crap out of me, i thought something epic was happening but then its just a bunch of wolves hanging around...
This song is such a good example of what made Mab so great: this badass theme. Y'know what got this fucking theme? Generation Boss? Nope. Field Boss? Nope. Dungeon theme? Nope. Y'know what got this theme? A mountain pass. A mountain pass shortcut. That hardly anyone takes. Something so small got such a nice touch. That just goes to show how much love and care devcat put into this world.
Even tho it wasn't a very popular location or very big, I went there mostly for this music. :) And to fight some wolves to level up x3
i remember when i was a low-level small boi, a stranger offered to escort me through this place, because other way to the city was super far, but this short cut was full of wolves. that was the best "fantasy life" I've experienced from mabi
