Dear Blake I have been waiting for a new video from you for a long time. And here it is. I really like your videos. They inspire me in a way that I rarely experience. I have various old books and I paint in them. Since I watch a video of yours every morning, I paint more than I have in a long time. I experiment and just let everything happen. I like painting with all the paint sticks, oil pastels, soft pastels and the Marabu`s art crayons. I have been suffering from Long Covid for 3.5 years with severe exhaustion, dizziness and cognitive disorders. As a result, I could no longer paint standing at my easel. I used to always paint large and couldn't do anything with art journals. Now I am glad that you have shown me a way to paint sitting in my art journals, have fun and forget my ailments. It is so healing. When I paint I forget everything around me and feel how it promotes my healing process. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Warmely Conny

Catching the ideas .....as David Lynch says....some analogy of catching small fish and the bigger fish....greater number of ideas. I recently got some and they have been so amazing. It feels like there's no stakes, so I can just do whatever without my brain getting in the way.

I have a large glossy cookbook I lobe using as a sketchbook with acrylics. I would love to shop thrift stores for some small hardbacks. 😊

Dear Blake Liliane I love your videos. It always looks like you're having a lot of fun experimenting. I just had a painting crisis. So I opened your channel again and watched videos. That gave me such a push that I'm on fire for painting again. What's funny is that I have the same pens as you (Marabu, waterolubile oil pastels, oil pastels, tempera sticks etc.). I just never knew exactly how to incorporate them into my painting process. Thanks to your videos and suggestions, I'm now trying things out and I'm having more fun than I've had in a long time. I'm very grateful to you for that. I love your cat too, or do you have two??? I have 4 cats living with me and they're always in my painting room. Sometimes it gets a little cramped because my tomcat is a very big one. But I love the company of my cats just as much as you do. Warmely Conny

Those cards and tags Are classy. Gorgeous!

These cards are marvelous! Try some medical exam paper for gel printing. Doesn’t easily tear and becomes transparent when applied with matte gel medium. Be sure and spray the back of the medical exam paper with water just before adhering it to the substrate with the matte medium. I’m crazy over this technique!
