What has happened to our attention spans?
In this video, I discuss how I feel social media has slowly destroyed our attention spans as the instant gratification from 15-second TikTok videos is rewiring our brains to make us more impatient.

The herd mentality is killing American politics.
มุมมอง 312 ปีที่แล้ว
Days of scrolling through posts on your phone and you may come to find yourself trapped in a group, regurgitating the same ideas as everyone else. This phenomenon is actually quite common. It’s called the herd mentality or mindset. It refers to an innate human quality to want to belong to a group so that you feel your values are in some sense, well, VALUABLE. In this video I cover how this term...

2020’s resurgence of gym culture
มุมมอง 292 ปีที่แล้ว
As Lexx Little puts it best, WE GO JIM. This is just one of the many memes that has spread out of what I dub “gym culture.” Our social media culture has recently become more and more obsessive with gym progress videos and trying to secure sponsorship deals with new and upcoming or well-established gym brands. We first saw this trend with the arrival of Gymshark in 2012, but never has the presen...
You should tip more often. Here’s why.

This video is a speech on the service industry and how we can help workers make a living wage. In states like Illinois, average wages for service workers are way under the living wage for the state. Today I advocate for solutions to help get service workers back on their feet while explaining the importance of leaving a good tip. Note: I realize I made a couple mistakes with the wording through...

Capitalism vs. communism: What’s better for society?
มุมมอง 712 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a discussion about the negative aspects of capitalism and communism, in which I try to outline a better way to manage a society’s economy without bringing ruin to the governmental structure already in place. If I got anything wrong in the video let me know, I am constantly trying to learn and improve my work. Hopefully this brings some good discussion to the forefront of some of your mi...

Introducing myself: Who is Nick Stulga?

This was much more difficult than I expected it to be. I will upload bloopers as well as there are many. Note: Please excuse the extreme use of the word “really.” I realized that mistake when I watched it back, but my attempts afterwards ended up huge failures and this was a solid attempt, so I just kept it as is. #introducing #myself

I’ve noticed it seems to be a bit more popular, but I’m wondering if it’s just the circles I surround myself with. For example on social media I get a lot of car related content as well, and know a lot of car guys, but I would argue that’s just because the algorithm knows it’s what i like. The same goes with gym stuff, the people I surround myself with take their health seriously, and the algorithm shows me gym content that I like.

My main point is that a lot of new gym pages that started in early 2020 have seen a huge surge in followers, as I’ve been following a lot of them since them. You can also see gym culture peering into other categories of social media, such as body positivity, cooking, entertainment, etc. Plus, creators such as Alex Eubank, Lexx Little, Joesthetics have seen massive follower growth in recent months. There’s no denying that gym culture has recently become massive, whether that be from quarantine or just by chance. I would say the rise of Gymshark caused the first wave of popular gym culture back in 2012 (social media based, obviously the Schwarzenegger era was huge as well). And we are now seeing an upwards trend in making people feel better about going to the gym and trying to promote body positivity, even if the downside is increased PED use by influencers wishing to blow up artificially on social media. Hopefully that clears up my video.
