Thank you very much for the comment. Yes, I do use Windex or any window cleaner. It actually makes for the best drilling coolant out there. I have wasted more bits trying to use various different "cutting oils" and I have found that Windex works the best. The main ingredient is ammonia. Ammonia flashes off heat and allows for the cutting edge of the drill bit to actually cut instead of gliding over the metal. The gliding will cause the cutting edges to actually dull fast. Plus it is messy and you now have to clean the metal again before you can weld on it. Windex acts as a coolant and a degreaser and cleans the area where you are working. But I am always open to suggestions.

That very same thing crossed my mind, I actually thought about having the spool sit sideways on the back so that it wouldn't stick out so far. You could probably use an older V-belt idler pully then fab a mount with some sort of alignment adjuster.

Thank you very much for the comment and you have a very good question. The distance that I set the up-arms was so close that I was able to just add a spring and squeeze it with the wing nut. That wasn't part of the plan but it worked out that way. The spring is an old door spring that I got from an old Buick Le Sabre that was donated to the local fire department. When they cut the doors off with their Jaws-of-Life. had that not worked, then I would have put they spring in between the socket and they reel piece that cam with the machine. I sorry, I am just trying to find the best words to describe it. I may do a video update on how I made the tensioner work.

​@@SoDakFabIt might be good to listen to the nearly finished product with earbuds before finalizing audio levels. I'd guess a large percentage of youtube watchers are on their phones with earbuds or headphones. Just an idea to help you figure out how to balance your audio use. Also, I'm definitely making one of these for my omnipro. Thank you!
