Front 242 - LIVE - September 15, 2024 - Great American Music Hall, San Francisco
An epic performance by the classic EBM group Front 242. The setlist was fantastic, the performances were tight, energetic and spot on. Easily the most I've ever sincerely enjoyed watching these guys - a rare thing to say about a band's last tour!! Sad to see them go but I'm so lucky to have added this to my front 242 performances I've witnessed.

Skinny Puppy - Eurotrauma 1988 VIVISECT VI Euro Tour Video Diary
มุมมอง 22Kปีที่แล้ว
1988 Video Tour Diary for the european VIVISECT VI tour. I heard skinny puppy was hitting the stage again, supposedly for their last tour this year (2023), since there are no (not yet) west coast dates I was pretty bummed, and although I've seen this band perform live a few times I got nostalgic and found this video in my archives. I couldn't find it anywhere on youtube so i figured i'd post it...

Man i wish a spundboard recording of this show surfaced. That would be dope AF
@@chrissteiger4199 tell me about it. There were a lot of shows from this era I’d say that about, but this is the top of that list. If one did Im sure it was earmarked as this show was well known to be one of the best all around musical performances of their live shows. 🤞
Thank you so much for posting this!!
1:52...Skinny Buddy? Skinny Putty? lol
Tracks are 40 years old yet sound like they are 40 years from the future. Skinny Puppy is otherworldly.
dwayne was so cute omg
When I played "Dogshit" for my sister in 1989, she literally said "that sounds like SATAN". I've never laughed so hard. xoxo puppies
I have been to numerous SP tours over the years, but 1986-1992 were the best for me. Being pre-internet, attending an SP show was an event; you needed to know someone who attended earlier tour shows to know what to expect. Nowadays, the first tour show is posted online within hours.
when you take into account raw talent and just being "real" and absolutely not part of the "mega busine$$ machine" , SP is the greatest. its unbelievable
What a gem! Thanks for uploading this!
My god, Dwayne looks like he's 15 years old
Don't look at the photo taken before he died it will break your heart
Song in car? :o
What was that at 2:23?
Does anyone know the track playing at 2:30 min mark? I first saw this tour vid as a teenager and have always wanted to know
Capita Selecta by Arbeid Adelt!. They’re a belgian electronic band
@@wentzr thank you so much!!! ❤ I've heard of this group before but didn't look too deep. Much appreciated!
This is AMAZING considering what just happened.
Skinny Puppy FOREVER!!! ❤❤❤ A month before I was even born 🥺
I had this video on the neap double disc. One of them had a cdrom feature, and had a bunch of tour footage.
They are babies. This is insane. Thank you for uploading, what an absolute mindfuck. I was 6.
Not babies but young adults.
Love from your 1 fan ❤2023
I wonder how big and heavy the video camera was
Those last words spoken at the end by Dwayne would be perfect to remix in or play at their last show ever at the end of their set.
just sent that idea to cEv.
@@wentzr Hell yeah! 🖤
Interesting how the edits cut Ogre mid sentence in some scenes 🤔 Probably nothing
As far as im aware the band was getting along very well together at this time, although it was not long afterward that the cracks started to widen into deep fissures.
@@wentzr yeah. After posting I realized that it was just a few scenes where it happened. They got along very well for the rest of it
Very cool! I started listening to these guys in the early 90s! Oddly, my first album of theirs was Last Rights, and Back and Fourth Series Two. Back then, the only way you'd score a CD from this sort of band is hope a record store has it, and often times they did not. They are a great band, and seem to be down to earth guys! Who is the one "furious" at 4:45?
Wait! You didn’t know you could ummmm…..ORDER 💩 FROM the music store? Yea like ANYTHING YOU WANTED! And things like Cleopatra Records etc had catalogs you could easily order from too. You really thought then you HAD to find it in a store? Sure hope not, or you missed out on a TON of music then 🤷🏼♀️😂
@@6Haunted-Days I was a child. Asking an employee to order me an album was not something that crossed my mind.
I know this is an old video but that was amazing!!!
this is GOOOOOOOOOOLD
I really feel a sense of just shoving along to make this all happen, conveyed throughout. It's unimaginable how artists could ride a line like this, to bring us the important messages they did, the years and years of lyrical and visual concepts + absolutely cutting edge and fearless production, in their gracious Canadian way. So much hard work to create something so truly unique and special to the fans. Thanks so much, cEvin and Ohgr!
They looked so dang young! Or am I just that damn old?

They are such goths I love them
Nice catch! That slipped by me.
Everybody was so nice in the 80's I watch so many videos. I fucking hate everyone now.
This is this some of the most important music ever made! To have it chronicled for future groundbreaking musicians is epic!
Is there a full version of this without it sped up available anywhere?
Not sure what you mean about the speed. It’s intended to play at normal speed. Check your TH-cam setting. This is the fullest version I’m aware of.
Unfortunately, no. Someone has the tapes, but this was put out as a part of the GWOTR DVD set and is the only publicly available version. I'd love to see the whole thing.
like a year ago someone uploaded the whole documentary that was about 6 hours long of this tour footage but it was taken down after a few days. this is the only version there is right now.
@@jglovehart9021 was wondering where it came from and why it happened. I was about an hour into when it suddenly got taken down from YT
@@TraumaHound its a shame it got taken down
the plush doggy at 10:58, was that used for a prop on the live set of VIVIsect VI's Testure and consequently got Ogre arrested because cops thought it was a real animal expiramention on stage? 😆😆😆
This is gold thank you
Man lässt kein verhungern!!
I remember this from the Back and Forth 4 videos, some of the footage it's from this tape I can tell.
This was awesome!! Been a fan since 1986ish. Really loved this - thank you for sharing 🖤
What a great time capsule!! Thanks for uploading and sharing with the world! :)
Most chill, cool sweetest dudes that made plenty of tunes that would scare the crap out of my friends. Best of the best, rarest of the rare! Love SP!
Isn’t that wild? I loved hearing cEv key talk about how he couldn’t even watch some of their own backing videos cause it would freak / gross him out. I think that was on his most recent too dark park deep dive on his scaremeister channel
@@wentzr Yes! I absolutely loved that stream btw! That was such a treat to have him break down every song and demoing the samples and sequencing, etc. I normally don't sit through livestreams for that long but for those 2+ hours I was absolutely glued!
This is great! Two friends of mine, after a Seattle show hung out with them. After seeing this, now I can totally see why and how. They were into fun! And Mark was/is a musician. The Northwest was amazing from like 83-95. RIP Mike Black.
Yea ummmm most bands (& people too] are into fun. 🤷🏼♀️😂 You act like he said he was into obscure 19th century Germany ghost stories ….now THAT woulud be an obscure cool thing to say oh we have that in common. Enjoying “fun” is kinda …..too broad. 😑🫥
@@6Haunted-Days Actually I grilled my friend on how exactly meeting them went down. And he said the show was over and the place was almost empty. He and Mark had been in the bathroom for a bit. So since it was almost empty the band members were walking around in the venue... the place they played. They saw Mike and Mark and one of them said, "Hey you guys look like you get into some fun shit." or some such and it took off from there. I always wish frigging UTub would allow photos to be posted. Because Mark and Mike were both really unusual looking for back then. That was around '85 or so. We all referred to ourselves as "dark punks." There weren't "goths" yet. Mark n Mike were both really attractive youngsters and I'm sure they had on their finest gear. How old are you anyhow?
❤❤❤❤❤
