This is what the RST should come with, not that ugly ass wood grain shit. But i bet the dealer wants several hundred dollars for all 6 pieces needed to do this conversation. Sure I guess one could try a carbon wrap the originals but ai doubt it would look the same or as good.

For the steering arm i got a bi metal hole saw just a little larger then the tapers and removed the drill bit then i drilled around the outside of the tapers with lots of deep creep only drilled down about 1/4-1/2 inch and the arm came free with a few strikes after beating heating and a mix of all the magical sprays for a week it finally came off within about 5 minutes 🥳🥳

Anyone know how similar this is for 2014-2016 models.? Is it pretty close to same thing?

Hey guys I’ve been dealing with an overheating issue on my 2012 JKU Rubicon. I replaced the thermostat twice with aftermarket units. because Mopar units have been on back order for a year, and it would still run too hot climbing a hill or when accelerating. What I found is, the aftermarket units are not only junk but are assembled with the spring upside down! I noticed the new one in this video has the spring upside down also! Another thing with most aftermarket units is the struts the spring retainer is mounted on are too short! This reduces the amount the thermostat can open! I have however found an aftermarket on Amazon that is not junk, has the taller struts like the OEM, and is made with an aluminum housing! It’s sold under the name MILIPARTS. I hope this helps. Jimmy

My wife has a 2017 jeep wrangler unlimited Willy’s edition. She has the same code P0128. But the thermostat is opening and operating correctly. I think it’s the coolant temperature sensor

I would pass on the body lift if I were you, now I don't want to play out of my sand box here I've only built one square body. Have built just over 400 '67-'72 Chevy/GMC 4x4's but that's it. My experience has been rather than raise all that lined up body components, just throw another couple of leaves in the suspension. Then you'll get your tire clearance and everything at one shot. Putting in a body lift is one hell of alot of monkeying around ie; bumper bracket fabrication, fuel tank filler fabrication, shifter lever fabrication ----you get the picture. Bottom line -IT AIN'T WORTH IT. Just trying to save you alot of grief !!!! Take Care ! Jim

on my 22 i think they used adhesive promoter on the Z71 and Duramax badges. The rear badge tape came right off. the front 4 took hours.

you have to watch the corners when removing badges too. they can chip the paint it you dig them in. Dealer had to pay to repaint my new 17 Camaro SS trunk lid. They gave it to a kid who had no idea what he was doing.

Mineral spirits will get the goo off.
