Eco Nappies Review | How Eco-Friendly Are They? Are They Any Good?
I'm a great advocate for reusable nappies and luckily there are so many videos out there already to help you with using them.
However, if you're like me and just need a bit of break from them, are there any good eco-friendly disposable alternatives? Are they any good?
Please note - there no product placement or paid advertising in this video, they are all honest reviews.
In this video I look at each different type of nappy individually. I look at the cost, how 'eco-friendly' it is and if it is actually any good as a nappy.
The nappies I've looked at today are:
01:04 - Mum&You Nappy Chat nappy
03:23 - Little Stories nappy from Boots
05:59 - Bambo Nature nappy
07:38 - Kat and Kin Eco nappy
09:39 - Cheeky Panda pull-up nappy
11:39 - Eco by Naty pull-up nappy

    Amazing work! You did so much. I suspect my baby has silent reflux because she always arches her back, coughs a little bit, and we need to bounce her on a ball for hours to get the gas out. The difference though is that she doesn’t like standing upright, unless if she’s being bounced or in the carrier. She prefers to be lying down.

    I find with people like myself who have suffer from hay fever and allergic rhinitis would be best to cut down on caffeine and high stimulants to help reduce an allergic reaction. I use a hayfever wax and the facial wipes which kind of form a wall between your skin and the pollen. Stay hydrated with water and take plenty of V it - C or better yet, drink a big full glass of orange juice.

    Hi! Thanks for your video, I’m trying to help my wife. My son is being a really fussy feeder. He squirms and arches in the cradle position and only feeds for very short periods. This leads to snacking. I often can hear him with a small cough throughout the day and he gets hiccups often. He loves tummy time but does get frustrated after a little while. He can self settle after about 15 mins but the nights are one good block and then every hour afterwards. We are just exploring the idea that it could be silent reflux. My partner has been sleep deprived for 5 months now. We recently started a bottle in the bouncer and he seems to like that and feeds for much longer periods. Some similarities with your story. What are your thoughts?

    Thank you for this video... I am trying to get some inside from any mother with a 4-year gap between their kids. Mine is three and I really think that if I am going to do this thing again it is now or never. May I ask, how it is going now that they are older? Do they play together? P.S. My husband is very supportive but he claims that even though he wants a second baby... he is scared to go through the sleeplessness again. I am most afraid about the pregnancy itself. When I was pregnant with my son, the doctor said I should spend the whole pregnancy laid down... and the one time I went to the supermarket... I end up 10 days in the hospital waiting for the baby to complete 36 weeks so we can deliver him with less risks. (everything went fine) I can't understand how am I supposed to stay in bed while having a 3-year-old son?

    My first challenge is we share the same name with our second borns 🤣! He’s the sneaky, silent independent one, instigating, he was a runner and a joiner of other groups. Went up to every dog, broke all our lamps, two tvs, many many toys and maybe furniture. Always danger, always too busy to help clean up but is already making a new mess while everyone else is cleaning up the last mess! I used to just follow him all day wondering how I would clean up behind him because he’s always busy, always helping when it was convenient and messy! Still rides his bike in the middle of left rather than right. Still takes the most dangerous option. That being said, he has a deep soul and he gets me. When we have heart to hearts I feel like he is seriously seeing into my soul! He can tell what’s going on around him while he’s keeping himself busy. Having a little screen time is necessary for these busy bodies! Love them !!!

    You are doing so wrong! Tear duct is mostly inside the bone, so you cannot apply pressure on it by sliding your finger to right or left. only use your little finger and push it next to eyeball and slide it down only a little bit. Just a couple milimeters thats it. Or see a doctor ASAP, he will show you the right way.

    Great video. we decided to stick with one. I think my own mental health, having preeclampsia , and finances are a big reason. Everything is so expensive now! It is 1600 a month for daycare where I live. I also think it's a lot to expect of them to play together and that "they'll always have each other". My siblings and I didnt want to play together when we were younger and we dont really talk now. Parents always gave more attention to one over the other and now our relationship with our parents in later life is strained and non-existent. A "built in best friend" as most people say is definitely not guaranteed.

Aidan has now grown out of his intolerances (he’s now 3 years old) but still gets the odd reaction around his eyes but we still can’t 100% identify the cause. It doesn’t seem to bother him too much so we’ve left it alone but I would definitely speak to your doctor if it’s still an ongoing problem.

    Having children used to be understood as being a blessing but now they are often seen as a burden, extra cost and an interruption of life. The birth rate is falling rapidly around the world. Psalm 113:9 - He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord. Psalms 127:3 - Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Psalm 127:4-5 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

      I completely agree. I'm a professional in Healthcare and after putting my son in daycare for 4 months I could not live with the idea of other people (including family) raising my son whom I brought into the world and dedicated to raising in the ways of God. There is too much distraction and influence from the enemy in the world and I firmly believe that mothers should raise their kids. Yes it is much easier going to a job but we have a calling to nurture our kids, they should not be burden for our job sake if we need to be at home to care for them. ❤ children are a blessing from God and being a parent also teaches you a lot and it helped grow my walk with Christ.

    • @believestthouthis7
      @believestthouthis7 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@asouthafricanindian9258 Amen, I'm so glad you realized this. I don't understand why a mother would want to have children, only to pass them off to other people (even family) to raise. Children tend to prefer their mothers over anyone else, especially at a young age. We have the responsibility to raise our own children in the ways of the Lord and the fruit of it lasts for eternity. May God bless you and your family.

    Wow. This video was very helpful. My husband and I already have a son.. and we are constantly deliberating whether or not we should have another child.

      It’s never going to be easy to decide. We found it a bigger conversation than having one child. I hope this helps you with you decision no matter what you decide.

      @@brettsaspari5369 we have an 11 months old and for now my husband decided he's one and done.. I, on the other hand, would like to have another. It's tough. But I'm never going to pressure him into this, so, though not by choice, I am OAD too. Hugs to you guys, we found it to be the toughest decision of our lives..

      @@daryakozhmy husband wants us to have second baby but I'm so overwhelmed by one he is 2.5 now and yesterday we got fist full night sleep. Second molars Teething is one big night mare. Still Brest fed.I stay home with him while my husband works from home and helps out here and there ( daycare is not an option for our family (ratio 9 to 1 caretaker) and nannies (we tried 3 only 1 was good) are beyond horrible experience (even me being always present at the house). No help from relatives as we moved far away from where we from. We barely have time for each other letting alone ourselves so Getting pregnant again sounds to me like the worst thing that could happen at this point.

    Do you know if the water beads can be stored long-term in an air tight container when “activated” wet?

    • @myparentingway7996
      @myparentingway7996 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have yet to have any issues with storing them in an airtight container and we have reactivated them with water a few times now which has worked wonderfully!

      Any mold if they’re activated and stored?

    I would leave the door cracked open to let the moisture escape the oven, otherwise you're just kinda creating a sauna in there.
