I reside in Gulf Breeze, Fl. My grandfather who is a SS teacher at his church just recently started teaching this curriculum. He led me to these videos. Just wanted y’all to know I am enjoying how simple you explain the complexities of God so we may understand even a fraction of His holiness. Its amazing how Ironic it is to use Dumb and Dumber in you presentation. This is so freaking sad and misinformed.

As an athiest I have never heard of Anthony Flew, that quote gives no evidence just expresses the views of an old man scrared of death. He still gives no actual reason why he changed his view. What evidence actually proded the evidence, you can't just say science. I need something I can test for myself, what claims is he referring to? It's really disheartening to see someone know just enough sciecne to get themselves in trouble. There are more than 20 amino acids and there is no data or code within them. Some just happen to work for life and others dont. Amino acids can form either left or right. Just because you find something incredible doesnt mean god did it. The scrabble analogy is a false analogy to amino acids and also to DNA. This code of god argument fails in actual debates. Amino acids form by themselves in space and in the lab all the time. Just a btw. The logic, or lack there of, jumping here is astounding.

Of course the earliest institutions on the west would include Xtianity/bible verses. When its the religion of a conquering colonizing empire its not hard to see why its influence is so prevalent. This entire thing has been laughable.

Your Story of wheelbarrow is not faith. It's seeing repeated testable evidence before their very eyes, I would get in the wheel barrow based on the evidence. Xtianity is taking claims at face value that they can't see, can't test, and have no direct evidence for. Faith is trust in a belief with or without evidence. Faith by itself is not a path to the truth. You can believe anything based on faith.....anything.

Science and faith are definitely not compatible. Faith is not a valid way to discover truth. Science takes objective evidence faith does not. Until Apologists read up on genetics, geology, radiometric dating, and many more topics this is all an exercise in futility. If a god exists then if god doesn't have another god to tell god what good and evil actually is then god wouldn't have a standard to be able to know what good and evil actually is. And so if a god exists and if god doesnt have another god to be able to tell god what good and evil is then what god thinks good and evil is is just gods subjective opinion.

it is a false claim that the resurrection is a historical fact. It's rather notable that even christians can't agree when this nonsnse happened, nor where since you can't agree on where the supposed "empty tomb" is. the JAMA article was about cruxifiction, not resurrection, and we know people have been cruxified. No evidence for your jesus alive or dead.

Ian nailed this! Been speaking with others about this and have touched on this aspect, but he said it far better than I could! Let's suppose for a minute that God doesn't give us free will. Why is it that the people WHO ARE SAVED get so worked up. Like, you are in. There is nothing more glorious than being among God's chosen. We get so stuck in our Earthly way of thinking that we can't process that- yes, we know people who are not chosen, and it will be sad here. But it will not be even a thought when we sit in glory with God because of his Grace that saved us from certain death. If not having free will means that I will not suffer eternal damnation, let's go!

Jesus should be part of a trinity, but He does not even KNOW what it is! If the trinity existed, Jesus should always say "I am with the Father and the Comforter" or "I am with the Father and the Holy Spirit", but this NEVER happens! Jesus NEVER states to be with TWO divine persons! Jesus ALWAYS states He is ONLY WITH THE FATHER! For example "The Father has not left me ALONE because I always do what pleases Him.". Of the Comforter NO RECORD in Jesus' life!!! In Jesus' mind only TWO divine persons exist: Him and the Father. Thus, in the gospels Jesus tells us 50 times, in all manners, that God is made by the Father and the Son. Period. That's not difficult: simply by reading and ACCEPTING !!!!!!! His statements you learn that the trinity does not exist and that God is only made by the Father and the Son. For example : "those who will believe in me through their word so that they all may be one, as you, FATHER, are in ME, and I in YOU. THEY also may be ONE IN US..." (i.e. only believers, Father and Son are there). So, when you read the discourse on the two blasphemies, of course you expect that the first blasphemy be directed to Jesus and the second blasphemy be directed to the Father, i.e. to the only two existing divine Persons. But surprisingly the Father is called "Holy Spirit" on that occasion. The reason is simple: Jesus has a "Father who is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23-25) who is called "Holy Father" by Him, but that "SPIRIT WHO IS THE FATHER" (nothing changes, He still remains the same God) also needs His own "spiritname" in order to be identified among other spirits. Well, you learn on that occasion that Jesus calls Him "Holy Spirit." In short, Jesus addresses the Father who is a spirit by calling him either Holy Father or Holy Spirit, equivalent names. Indeed the Holy Spirit - who is inside Jesus - CAN ONLY BE THE FATHER: no one else is there! "He who sent me is with me." "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me".

Jan, it is so good to hear your testimony of God’s faithfulness and your grit. We looked for Ken’s updates daily so we knew how to pray for you. Thank you for sharing. In this life we will have trouble, God’s tells us that in his word, but he also tells us to take heart because he has overcome the world. That’s definitely not always easy. I have struggled with anxiety most of my life but through struggles I try to remind myself to turn it over to God. It’s a blessing to see your smile. Leslie Roche
