I love the part where she said “you’re never going to feel hope if you were staring at your circumstances and glancing at Jesus.” Yeah. I think that’s what gets a lot of us. We just get so tunnel visioned on what’s going on, we’re so busy trying to handle it and fix it and push through it, as if we are caught in rapids, that we forget that Jesus is in the boat with us and he knows how to get us through the rapids AND He knows which rapids we need to go through. ❤

For yrs I've had someone intruding in my personal life and it brought me to deep depression. I never was a depressed person before, but I'm trusting God to get me through it

This will offend but if it frees you after then praise God! Depression for certain situations understandable that come our way. But to live in anxiety and depression continually thats bc we are lead by the flesh, not the Spirit. Our walk with God is faith based in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Not our feelings. What is faith? Believing/hope in what you dont see, feel, or even understand. --- This is coming from a person who had depression, anxiety, hospitalized several times, suicidal thoughts...I was abused ALL my life!! --- Either you believe Gods word or you dont. You live in bondage by the whispers the devils tells you over what God word says.....THAT'S A SIN!! Because bible says devil is father of lies, no truth in him, so you believe the liar devil over God. Bible says "God not a man that He should lie" Numbers 23:19, God is good, God is love, God has no darkness. Demonic oppression comes from believing him and entertaining his lies. Devil snare "hook" pick it up he now gots you entangled on his hook. People Im telling you I was there! It took almost a year to get it in my head then in my heart and now Im free. I had to sit at the feet of Jesus daily and absorb His word and pray God will open my heart to accept & believe His truth. Children of God cant be posssed but they could be oppressed. If you need deliverance for oppression is bc Gods mercy He stepped in, but if you dont get into the word and stand firm on His truth, devil gonna come again and mess with. Bible says "resist devil and he will flee" Stronghold is when you believe a lie! Also unforgivness and continual sin will keep in bondage People give to much power to the devil. Jesus already defeated him, walk in the victory through Christ Jesus the completed work on the cross

God truly loves his children, if you are in distress call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. I pray that you have eyes to see God's ways, how God moves, and wisdom to understand how to lean into God in times of trouble. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" Psalm 116:15 "I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place." Psalm 118:5
