Exploring the Peak District National Park By car. Peak District really is a driver's paradise. A dramatic drive with breathtaking scenery. Driving through Derwent dams, Town of Castleton, visiting Speedwell Cavern, with a boat ride through half a mile of passages to the end, with views down the Bottomless Pit. Stopping at The Goyt Valley, stunning views across the Errwood Reservoir. Visiting Dovedale, nice walk on river Dove towards stepping stones. Small drive from Dovedale is Ilam Park, surrounded by gardens and woodland.

Dovedale is known for the River Dove and its limestones ravines. Following the river Dove up towards the stepping stones, you can cross and climb to the top of Thorpe Cloud, to view the Peak District. choice by K.Khuhawar Burano is an island in the venetian lagoon. Burano is 7 kilometers from Venice, a 45 minute trip from St Mark square by water bus.(vaporetto). Known for its brightly painted houses. The island is considered among the ten most colorful places in the world.
Should come back now and see the beautiful herbaceous borders in foil bloom..... and of course the whole of the inside of the house, which isn't open on a Wednesday...
