@tabes10 yeah i know, i turned it right down because the camera mount was making all kinds of rattly creaky noises and with the windows up in the wet you werent going to get much engine noise anyway. as for tyre noise..again its raining. more vids to come, if i can get off Skylines australia or facebook for five minutes..

no clue, just stood around for a few takes. came home and downloaded the show and caught this scene in about ep 11 or so. was pretty cool knowing i was standing there when it happened. little embarrassed about how cool it felt actually.

ive recently moved to NT with my vz clubby i was shattered to here they took away the no spped limit shit.. :( is there many copers that patrol the roads though?

@videowilliams wow thanks for the kind words, just watched it again this morning and noticed the image quality is a bit lacking. uploaded it before the internets got fast so might have to do it again with the compression not so huge. Maybe then some of the scenery your so jealous of would actually be visible! I hear the speed limits might be chucked again and if so i will be back for another try, this time in my skyline..

In the meantime there are only six highway patrol cars out there, these were not added to the force after the speedlimits were introduced but shanghaied from general duties. Something the residents with the highest number of break and enters in the civilised world were real pleased about...

I think the paranoia about speeding over here is a bit OTT with it being easiest way to make revenue its suddenly the most dangerous thing you can do on the road? pretty sure you still lose only one point for being drunk out there...lets hope the limits are repealed by the next government.

nice run man, very cannonball! unfortunately from my brief forays on the interwebs looking for info on effective radar detectors i can find none which actually detect the radars used by Australian police in any useful amount of time. Apparently we use some trick system which most wont pick up and either way LIDAR or laser speed guns are more popular today anyway. Those things cant be seen till too late so your basically rolling the dice at those speeds, least with your licence.

nice one..we only went from Sydney to Alice and out to the big Rock thing they have there. Took two days, this was before limits out there though we might have been a little naughty in outback NSW. Even passed a patrol or two doing two over the double tonne near Broken Hill and then again near Port Augusta in SA. guess they didnt have time to turn around... when did u do your run? how long should it take?

yeah at 6mins in we hit 246..now just to go back and top it..
