From this time fourth! 🙌🏾Amen Great video! I had to deschool to get the public school mentality out of my system. We spent that time reading good books. Because I pulled my oldest out of public school in the middle of her 1st grade year, I needed to get to know her as a student and figuring out what curriculum would work for us both. I'm thankful for that time because with prayer God directed my steps on what would work for us.
We have 5 more lessons in the red book. I'm thinking by March we'll be ready to move into the blue book. How are you guys liking it so far? My 5 year old is using the yellow book and loves it. What I noticed when I taught in the public school is that everyone is "behind". I love that I can take that label off of my children and allow them to be free and learn the way that boosts their confidence. Keep going mama. You and your husband are doing a great job!🎉

Hi! I'm a New subscriber. We use From Phonics to Reading as well! It's been one of my favorite curriculums for my kiddos. I love the dynamics of your homeschool because it's so close to mine. I don't teach anymore though. I used to teach high school math. Thanks for sharing your day with us. 🤗
