Love and LIGHT to Kenesha. I can relate coming from a strict non witness family to meeting a witness guy and becoming a witness later. When you are abused sometimes you don’t recognize abusive situations. Same thing happened to me after my first talk. Keep the stories coming. This is my fav channel.

Thanks for sharing your story Kenesha. I can really relate to when you said you left but hadn't processed it. I felt like I just accepted I was a bad person that couldn't live the JW way and I was going to be destroyed sometime in the future. I also relate to being treated like a trophy to my parents. The way your mom reacted when you started to rebel a little bit was selfish. I have realized that a lot of jw parents view their children as extensions of themselves and are more concerned about how you make them look and the embarrassment they could face from the cong. I'm so sorry for the way your family treated you. Calling the police on you was crazy. I would have loved to hear how they explained that to the police. Knowing what I know now, I would have said, "Let's do that, let's call the police. I want you to explain to them what's going on here." I'm happy you've broken the curse.

Nice to see some folks like yourself with the courage to confront and expose this organization for what they have become: a cult of slavery to men. I am disabled for a while; or I think I would construct my own cart to start exposing these idiots for who they are as well; hypocrites! They say they have love among themselves, and that they love people. (John 13: 34, 35;...Matt. 22: 39) But as an ex JW for 55 years; I've witnessed the slow and insidious spirit of creature worship creep into the organization. In the last 10-15 years, it's become more about loyalty and worship to the governing body; than loyalty to the Head of the congregation, Jesus Christ! This group of self appointed egotistical Pharisees have slowly strangled the realm of Christian freedom by making more and more rules based on human opinions. They even kicked out 3 of their governing body members in 1980 for their disagreeing with the majority of the body on organizational policies. These men, like Ewart Chitty and Ray Franz; stood for the SCRIPTURES FIRST; OUR OPINIONS SECOND! Yet they were kicked out and called "apostates"! (See the book "Crisis of Conscience, by Ray Franz.) Don't know why you were expelled, but I was because 2 or 3 men decided THEY could interpret statements in the Bible that never defined or expanded their meaning. These elders violated the counsel at 1 Corinth. 4: 3-6; Romans 14: 2-12;..James 4: 11, 12; and 1 Tim. 5; 21; to name just a few. Then I requested reinstatement 2 times; and they denied me even the right to sit down and explain things! The "love" they think they display is CONDITIONED, CONDITIONED ON WHETHER YOU PLAY BY THEIR MAN MADE RULES OR NOT! What to wear, when to wear it, whether you can wear your beard or hair style in some way; whether you can go to college or not, what you can speak, who you can marry or date; whether you can vote in elections, whether you can contribute to organizations who are fighting lawlessness by government and health agencies;, how many hours a month you go in the ministry, how frequently you attend meetings, whether you can have a blood transfusion in the event of a medical emergency, on and on and on and on! As you probably know well! Let's keep up the exposure, so that we get these self righteous creeps who themselves have apostasized from Jesus Christ themselves; kicked out and removed from the JW's!!

I'd like to get some t-shirts made that say: ExJW Ask Me Anything That way, I could quietly stand next to the many carts in my very touristy area. It might be a nice way to start conversations without having to lug around a bunch of stuff. Could you imagine, just walking up next to a cart and taking off my jacket to reveal the t-shirt. No words needed. Just smile 😂😂

Your reactions are so odd. You react in wrong places and stop the speaker on the wrong note. The guy mentioned about the number of the died people - but you have no reaction to that. Then you start lecturing on and on not letting the speaker express himself. Maybe you should learn how to do a proper interview.

The JWS religion is Babylon the Great the false prophet religion who have been preaching a false commercialized $$$ version of the true Gospel of Jesus. Why this came about is not too difficult to figure out since there was a publishing house/company operating at its core and the top executive writers/editors (GB members) were the ones who made and created the doctrines for the organization. The Watchtower Corporation (JWorg.) has always been involved in false prophesying going back to the late 1800's. One of biggest inherent lies made up by these men was that Jehovah had chosen them in 1919 as his solemn earthly organization for preaching bible truths. The top men claimed to be the Anointed ones, the Faithful Discrete Slave etc. none of that was true for they were false prophets unto themselves pushing their literature to the public, using their preaching to empower themselves and make money. How bad does Jehovah view false prophets is seen in Revelation 20:10 ... 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Our elderly coordinator had been at bethel but had to leave as his wife wanted a baby...many years later he'd laugh about how he pulled a few strings to get his son in his desired mechanic dept immediately. His son was nothing special at all in the Cong except for being a giant suck up

dont stay because youre afraid of being shunned, shunning is inevitable even if you stay in the organization you can still be marked or soft shunned. no relationship you (think) you have in the organizatiom is worth sacrificing yourself for. know that you will make new friends, houseing and jobs are replaceable. people rebuild all the time, you too will be just fine.
