In the last couple years there has been an increase in catalytic converter thefts. Due to the height of the Tundra it's much easier for thieves to slide under and steal the catalytic converter. As soon as I got my new 2024 Toyota Tundra, this is the first mod that needed to be done. Initially I found myself getting into the habit or pressing the button to disable the feature, however there were still some moments where I forget to do it and find out mid travel at a stop light.

I found the price to be a happy medium between the Baja designs/heretics and then the last/auxbeams. But I agree with you on sticking to a budget!

Got it myself from Amazon $25. Noticed it works 90% of the time.
90% is an A on a test back in the day LOL But yeah it works pretty well for me actually. I only noticed specifically though that if I turn off the truck and turn it back on quickly then it doesn't work. My guess is the device still has power in it so it doesn't recognize a change in current, therefore it won't emulate the "switch off". Thanks for stopping by!

It does not unfortunately. The connection it taps into I believe is for the digital rear view mirror which is not continuously running hot.
