Only 3 coaches during the 24 years from 2000-2023 got to play in the NC when they 1) didn't win their conference or 2) played a team that didn't win their conference. Saban owned 4 of these. 2011 being 1. 2012. Ditto. 2015. Saban's only legit NC. 2017. See 2011 2020. Give me a break. When has a team played 5 more games than their NC opponent. Right. Never. This was all about the millions that the media could make.

Going back to his LSU days, Saban was 11-1 in the SEC Championship game and his only loss was to a team that went on to win the National Championship. It is a remarkable statistic considering this was a neutral site and that it was rare that Alabama played opponents that had little chance to win - maybe 14, 15, and 16...but the rest of the games were against incredible opponents. Just a remarkable coaching career!

He never would have had anywhere near this level of dominance had he came to WVU. Although; I do believe he could have won a couple at WVU.

Great video and narraration was great. My top 5 moments: 5.Kenyan Drake's return 4.Blake Sim's Iron Bowl 3.Shut out vs LSU. Hightower's celebration and LSU's defense sucking wind. 2.Jalen vs Georgia. Saban's (almost) emotional in post game interview. 1.SEC championship 09 vs FL Ingram and Julio tying up the gator on the sideline. You should do a recap of the 2020 perfect season.

3rd Generation Alabama fan, have been blessed to be born into one of the most rewarding fan experiences that one could only dream of having. Roll Tide!

Just listening to the players on Alabama is wild. It feels like every time a player on the Tide is mentioned, it's a future NFL All-Pro. These mfs were so deep that Josh Jacobs was playing special teams, and he wasn't even the returner lmao. Every year they were basically an above average NFL team in most aspects.

I can't deny that Tebow crying is one of my greatest Bama fan memories.

Growing up in the dark ages, 2009 SECCG will always be my favorite game. It was the first time I was ever able to definitively say “we have the best team in the country.”

The very first major win in the Nick Saban era was to overcome the Gators. Saban and the Tide did that in a hurry, year 3. That was truly the turning of the Tide. Them Gators were loaded.
