Same s#% happened to me in a 78 t- bird when i was 17. Brake rotors disintegrated when i tried to stop behind a decelerating school bus that was about to let kids off to cross the street. I yanked the wheel to go full on Dukes of Hazard into the ditch next to me. Bout a 6 foot drop.

Customer swears there was no noise til TODAY. Came right over. Imagine the oil 😂.

Should be a brass hammer not steel if you’re gonna be doing it that way.

Back in the day you had to use shims to make the starter engage correctly to the flywheel

Might want to do a deflection test with a dial indicator that bearing might still be in specification 😅
