Dr. Nicholas Farber explains Overactive Bladder
I have a 10mm stone now an little stone in both kidneys it sucks
I have a stint in for over 30 days now,30 days of absolute misery,2 lithotripsy procedures and now I'm waiting for them to make appointment to do laser to break it up some more and pull those pieces out,if they knew it was that big they should have done the laser in the first place. When they do the laser I will have to keep the stint in for another 1 or 2 weeks.
I just had this done this past Friday 1/17/25. Still healing
Most will not believe what I'm about to tell you. Went to primary care Dr. For routine check up at 69. PSA 11. he recommended i see a urologist. 2 months later my PSA. WAS 17. BIOPSY WAS then done 8 pulls cancer 15% in 2 pulls. Growth is outside the prostate capsule. Gleason good 7. 3+4. They categories me as stage 3 cancer.Proton was recommended and hormone therapy. I agreed to neither one. The urologist told me Proton and then changed to photon therapy . His reason didn't sit well with me so I walked away. A year later my PSA WAS A 34. ( NO DECIMAL POINT ) still no treatment whatsoever. Lots of testing. MRI, PET scan, cat scan, bone scan, negative lymph node scan negative. Trip to the hospital over a year ago random PSA done . Was a 23.. I am 73. I have NO symptoms. I go to bed at 9 and up every morning at 5:20 No pee breaks Employed full time . I will die WITH prostate cancer, NOT From It. I have God's word on it.
The Rencure Formula Capsules have given me peace of mind about my kidney health. A safe and effective supplement."
I had Aquablation about 4 years ago and it was fantastic! I stayed overnight and they ran fluids in me all night to clear out the bladder of blood, and by the morning I was urinating clear enough for them to release me and without a catheter! That was one of the best parts that I didn't have to o home with a catheter, I had my procedure done in LI, NYC and am so happy I did!
@@draganzurovac5741 maybe so, but I'm doing fine
In UK I got an infection from the biopsy that caused urinary retention days later and I had to have a colostomy bag fitted. Radiotherapy was delayed a few months until bag was no longer required.
This dude doesn't even have an MD 💀
😲🤙🤙🤙👏🥰
Well explained. I am at the hospital hotel right now waiting for the operation today at 07:00 Unfortunaly it is the 3rd in 6 weeks , because they didn't manage it during the 2 first . So I will see soon what will happen today. " part of the buisiness " I liked that Thank you so much for that great video.😊
I got my aquablation one week ago,When I left the hospital my flow was very strong, and voided 250-300. Now my flow has slowed down and can only void about 100-150, and feel I've not emptied. Is this normal or is it a blockage? Did you have this problem?. My urine looks clear no red bits or clots, but maybe the clots are in the bladder neck. Peeing is sore, and still a bit of hesitancy at beginning.
Don’t let any doctor kid you! Kidney stone procedure is what causes all the damage. NOT the stone itself! Shoving all those devices up your dick does a lot of damage that you have to deal with for weeks after the procedure. The operation is only the beginning of your pain. Not the end. Do yourself a favor and try to pass yourself. Avoid surgery at ALL COSTS!
my psa was.one month back 6.3 nou 7.2 i dit waidht traing the day befor
Excellent video. Great doctor. Where is this doctor located?
Very informative
The very best description !
The urologist that I saw didn't do any of the above. After the PSA test which was 4.8, he sent me for the biopsy, knowing that I have an enlarged prostate! The biopsy was negative which means he put me through months of worry and pain.
had a procedure aug, 2020 i was poke on my side to get the stones. now same left kidney stone is back, blocking my ureter. last week i was in for a shock wave treatment but was stopped reason being is that my pacemaker is reacting to the shock wave. now i'm waiting for the next step
Thanks I'm in hospital in France on Tuesday 8th October for this procedure. I have a large stone in my kidney, Dr said I might need two laser sessions. This helped me to understand the whole procedure. I think some had been "lost in translation " for me.
I had this done and the urologist left his basket inside my ureter for 6 weeks till I went back for second procedure there was damage done I’m still healing and bleeding after 4 weeks ahhhhh
DON'T GET A PENILE IMPLANT!!! worst decision I have ever made. 8 months post-op and I'm extremely much smaller, 4-5 inches shorter, at least half of my normal length and girth is essentially non-existent. I can now hide my entire erect penis inside my closed fist and my girth is now only "slightly" larger than my thumb, absolutely embarrassing! I finally asked my girlfriend for her honest assessment, she said I'm definitely much smaller to the point it feels like I'm only fingering her and she can no longer achieve an orgasm with me, also said it is most noticeable during oral sex. This entire experience has been emotionally, mentally, and physically devastating to the point I have contemplated suicide! I have now accepted the fact I will never be able to satisfy a woman ever again and possibly never have sex again, I just want the damn thing out of me!!!
Actually, I feel more anxiety after watching this video and reading the comments 😳when he said, "Maybe we have to go a second time!"😮 My stone is 7mm outside the kidney already. I have passed many stones, but doctor says this one is too big😖
Spot on, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!
Feeling back pain, painful urination and headache for more than 3 years, can it be prostate cancer or what
I have a kidney stone. I may have to get a ureteroscopy if my stone does not pass at the end of this month. What pain med is given after the procedure. I cannot take morphine because I have a dangerous “reaction” to it and cannot take it. If morphine is given, do urologists prescribe something else if the patient cannot take morphine?
I was recently slammed (out of nowhere) by 4-5mm kidney stones. Two were lodged in the left ureter which sent me to ER. The pain is indescribable and relentless. A stent was immediately placed to clear the blockage and surgery was scheduled 10 days later so the infection had a chance to clear. THE STENT PAIN IS HORRIBLE AND YOU WILL BE MISERABLE. After surgery to remove the stones, the stent was replaced as a precaution of ureter swelling and another 8 days of stent agony ensued. I’ve been completely panicked for the last week reading comment after comment about the barberic procedure and pain involved to remove the stent. Happy to say I experienced ZERO pain and nothing was given for numbing during the procedure. It was a little uncomfortable due to pressure but even that was over in less than a minute. All of this to say everyone is different so someone else’s experience won’t be your experience. My suggestion, take something for pain prior to the procedure “just in case” and relax. The relief is immediate and I’m so glad it’s over. Good luck to everyone.
What about people that have to cath themselves on a daily basis closed urethra
Im still having lots of blood 2 days later after 14mm stone removal
I had a urolift on 12, 2022. Now I had 3 days ago the squablation. I’m bleeding a lot into the catheter bag also the clips from the urolift surgery can be removed?
Thank you for the information Doc.
I having this done in two weeks. My urologist made it sound like its not a big deal. I will just be uncomfortable for awhile. Famous last words I guess.
I had it done yesterday on aug 30th and having stent removed sept 10th. Urinating stings like hell but better today and kidney pain also when urinating. Didn’t sleep good last night because of uncomfortable bladder pressure. Not fun but it is tolerable. They got all of the stone and am now counting the days until they remove this stent.
Having it done in a couple of days. The doctor said that it’s not at as bad as it sounds at all. Yet, all I see is horror stories about the stent. How did yours go?
I been showing protien in urine for 30 years but only recently had PSA test of 5 seen urologist 30 years ago finally told well some men just have some protien
Very interesting. Good job. Best discussion I've seen.
PIcs and charts... why not use them?
Thank you, very clear explanation.
This was so helpful! I’m having this procedure tomorrow. Thank you for this video!

Thank you so much that’s exactly what my doctor tell me 😊
Black male patients could always visit Missouri's largest hospital for urology. After being toyed with by an old and mean nurse a woman doctor could pretend to calmly be listening to your symptoms while planning her prank. She has you pull your pants down standing up and the door willnopen and close about five times with women laughing outside the door. Then, she steps out saying she i talkin to a superior to send a white man to make fun of you. He paces for a minute and half, ask you two unimportant questions, circle pace some more until he flees the room laughing yalking about masturbation to prove she ignore every word you said for racist reasons. Then she comes back in the room. You appreciate her calm manner without the hateful playing by others that you trust her even though she still seems to be ignoring symptoms and what may have happened. Then, when you see your young female physician again she is playfully making fun of you. Of course, because you are black you are supposed to be too stupid to point out when she clearly makes the wrong comments. But she is drunk over the stunned and freightened face of someone dumb enough to trust her. She stress your health and privates DO NOT MATTER. Your life and options in life are NO BIG DEAL while fighitng her urge to burst out in laughter. Then, you are back at the urogilist often to make put you in place because before a cystoscopy. She is out of breath and rudely talking fast to rush putting the camera through you already hurting privates. She hoes back fourth to the room you were early for more and more looking like she wrestling or fighting bears in another room. She is insanely still rushing you while you are 100% waiting on her and the nurses to be ready. Then she invites two tall younger female students to the procedure. After takkin o you like she hates you immediately after the cystoscopy; your pants are still down. They loudly make fun of you and your penis size right outside the door. Of course, in that area you saw only black male patients in the lobby for his Asian woman urologist to play the NOT BBC game in.
Thank you for the very clear explanation of what I am about to go through!! 😊
I got my labs done and an EKG now I have to do a stress test tomorrow morning to get clearance for surgery and I really hope it doesn’t take too long to get cleared after the stress test because my surgery is on the 12th
The first time I went to a urologist in PA, he did not do any blood or urine tests. He only showed me some walnuts and vompare different ones to my prostate size
🤔 Excessive ejactulations also increase PSA levels
Thanks very valuable
The new perineal prostate targeted biopsy has fewer infections.
Great explanation. Just wished he would have elaborated more on velocity. In 2011 my.psa bounced from 5.53 to 4.76. Then in 2013 back to 5.53. Then in 2022 it went to 8.6. I know velocity and how long it takes to double in value is an important factor.
