@@ConnorA21 yes they do. 👍
@Gaz-D-Projects thanks for the reply Gaz, if you don't mind me asking my gearstick has play in it, for instance like turning up a stereo radio volume knob, it turns left and right, is this normal?
@@ConnorA21 do you mean to say the top of the gear knob is able to spin from left to right? If this is the case then no that is not normal. You could try using some lock tight on the knob treads or alternatively buy a new gear stick knob and ensure the treads are good. 👍
@@Gaz-D-Projects yes mate it's that but the shaft is moving like that also.
@ConnorA21 are you able to select gears? I would check the bushings and replace them. ensure the pin between the "shaft" and gear selector is not worn also. 👍

I just bought such a bike, do you know the maximum weight allowed? These bikes seem delicate.
@@andrzejmajchszak455 the frame itself is very strong, but in regards to rider weight I wouldn't push it past 230-260 pounds. Very comfortable frame geometry too. The original handle bars are double walled only from the centre out also. so these can break under certain loads too.
Nature killer

I bought a Kettler Daxi too. If you still interested in a air pump, I can sell you mine. I don't need it. I think it's has no air compression any more, but if you like to have it. You can buy it. Maybe you can replace the seal / fitting.
@DerChickenBoom cool glad to hear it. I think the my kettler came with a pump. I will have to have a rumage around, but thanks for the offer. ❤️🇮🇪

Great!!!!
Just watched the video for a 2nd time. I definitely enjoyed the review at the end of the video. 2 questions if you don't mind. What did you think of eco mode and did you have any problems with the steering stops in the headset. Your audio and video were very good during the review. Thanks guys.
@johnnywallace8123 really glad you enjoyed the review. as for eco mode to be honest we didn't use it that much we opted for Trail and Boost mode most of the time, but that said eco mode definitely has its place it really depends on the application to be fair. we didn't really run into any issues with the headset steering stops I'm sure there's a method to the madness there somewhere 🤔
Thanks for the reply. I'm waiting for another video. Enjoy the rest of your day.
@@johnnywallace8123 video incoming very soon 👍
Nice video guys, I have just bought the same bike and I am fairly inexperienced so I really appreciate your video. Your audio during the ride could be improved. That said, I appreciate your conversation at the end of the video.
@johnnywallace8123 thank you for the great comment I'm glad you enjoyed the video and that you found the information on the Vitus helpful. Vitus really do know how to make a great all round bike. Apologies for the bad sound I only had a small mic with me at the time. Enjoy your new bike and hit those trails hard. Love from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
Take it outside n proceds to show no real cutting.🤣
Use a metal from old coat hangers.. its brilliant and lasts ages .. no more dangerous than nylon or brush cutting blades...
Not true
Ok, I had this brainwave too and did it once. Here's what I noticed: - The wire needs to be well balanced or you introduce excess vibration through the motor and up the shaft, into your hands. -Its good for light duty (aka real lawn) but tougher wild grasses and weeds can strain the trimmer as there is no give in the wire. You may have to be less aggressive in heavy stuff or suffer frequent motor cutoffs. - The wire will wear down the metal eyelets where you feed line through, introducing sharp edges. For me, that meant normal nylon lines started chaffing heavily at the eyelets, breaking off at that point every few minutes of run time. If you are lucky and still have enough metal on the eyelets, the nylon will eventually smooth those edges out, but only after you burn through a spool or two of snapped off line. Its a nice experiment, but you may need to replace some parts after.
I tried this ,it may work .th-cam.com/video/ovJvFWcdhjs/w-d-xo.html
I cut a motorcycle clutch cable in half and used the cable nipples to keep it in at both sides . It lasted longer than usual ,but was still shite really . I'm gonna try and put a nipple on both ends . I didn't think the fray action was any good ?
@blues master yeah the cable fray action wasn't great at all in fact, but it got me out of a hole after running out of nylon cable reel. Great idea with the clutch cable with the nipple ends 👌 let me know how they pans out. ❤️🇮🇪
@@Gaz-D-Projects Yes I certainly will . It was the first time I'd used a strimmer and thought to myself .Why'd they use almost fishing line on them . I think what i have in mind will work perfectly . I'll detail it when i get to it .The nipples were perfect for the eyelets on the strimmer . I fed them through and cut to size . I was using the strimmer wrong against the walls I just realised that's why it wore out so quickly. I'm gonna cut another one and and attach some removable cable nipples to the fray ends .
Very dangerous it can break off in and fly out
Agreed Corissa. I don't Condone unsafe practice, however at the time this got me out of a tight spot. Love from Dublin Ireland ❤️
You obviously havent ysed a petrol strimmer.. Even nylon can cause lots of harm..
Bro don't do it. Could fly into your eye. Risk/Reward. Always choose health.
@@Gaz-D-Projectsi tend to disagree with the others..that's what the surround/shroud is for, to make sure if it detaches it doesn't go up, granted if your using it horizontally for a hedge or at any angle just make sure no one is around but that's normal practise with a strimmer anyway! ...also if any standard strimmer wire miraculously came off and slapped you in the eye it would hurt just as much..😂 but overall very unlikely of an accident if you keep it low! great video! 👍🏻
@@ivormectin.3046 there is an inherit risk and or danger when using such a device. safe practice is allways something to bare in mind. and yes I've used 2-stroke strimmers in the past.
