My dog was diagnosed with autoimmune meningitis and has been in mycophenolate. And recently got sick. He was puking and leaky diarrhea . He tested positive for Coronavirus related to GI tract. He was given antibiotic and motility drug. But he is hospitalized now again for the same symptoms. The internal medicine doctor performed endoscopy and mentioned that the inflammation in small intestine is mostly likely from IBD. He is on GI steroid right now and waiting on biopsy. I am not sure how we can help him because all medication have side effects

Great information on helping both our beloved pets and us pet parents by empowering with the knowledge you’ve gained over the years. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 1980, fortunately I’ve been in remission for the most part over the decades. Then I had to euthanize my second 11 year old Keeshond back in 2019 and then my Mother celebrated her (Good)100th birthday on February 11, 2021. We then got our new Keeshond puppy on February 26, 2021…my mom had about 10 days with Milo before my mother’s health declined and eventually passed away at home with hospice. Thank you again for your kindness and willingness to help our precious pets.

My dog is do not believe do well on animalbiome products. I have gotten several FMT products both regular and raw capsules. My dog appears to to be getting a lot of acid reflux

Thank you! I had researched microbiome quite a lot and we're working on fecal transplant for our doggy Mochi. But we have not had consistent success with it. She is picky and won't eat veggies regularly which is required per our nutrition recipe. Still looking for why the fecal capsule is being a challenge.

And THIS is why I Love Dr. Suter!!! I've been treating my pets holistically & homeopathically myself for YEARS! I TOTALLY AGREE about the Pro-biotics, as well as Raw diet! We need to acknowledge each as an individual! No "one size fits all"! Pro-biotics has become a huge industry with all of it's hype, yet in my experience, has done more harm than good!!! As for Raw, great for many pets, yet MANY (elderly, I'll, or even small breeds, prone to pancreatitis), can not digest it! That was the biggest mistake that I made with my last Yobrainwashing, my stubbornness due to brainwashig! Lesson learned the hard way, unfortunately! Slow-cooked, Organic, Grass-Fed, Free Range & Human Grade is the way to go for some of these pets! Definitely NO KIBBLE!!!! ❤🐾❤🐾

We've learned the hard way to take the health care of our dogs into our own hands. We lost 3 of our dogs because the Vet's didn't find a problem even though we insisted that something was very wrong. We learned to question everything and google every medication, every prognosis to understand better. The Vet's were all kind and friendly but stressed and overworked I guess. Being closely involved has saved my now 13.5 year old boy and he's still doing well. He had knee surgery in both legs when he was 8. He started to have seizures when he was 11. He's got arthritis and he's on a lot of supplements and some medications which keep the seizures (for seizures he gets CBD oil and Taurine no seizure medication) to one a year so far, he's not longer limping and still enjoying walks and life. Our Vet is a bit annoyed with me for questioning what he's doing but I don't care. My dogs get real food no kibble and the Vet tells me, your dog is in good shape for his age, maybe you should give him this senior kibble. I don't understand what's going on in his mind when he does that.

Destin Florida and Gracie has several issues lately chronic ear issues and licking front paws. Redness around her pelvis volva area. Irritating skin around her mouth. I think this may help her with many things and stress after losing Madeleine our girl November 25, 2019. Thank you. 🙏🏻

Frustrated and hopeless

My puppy has had bloody diahhrea since i brought her home on July 6th. I have been to 3 vets and tried different diets. So frustrated -and don’t know what else I can do. Put her down or continue for another 6 months?!

Dr. Odette, aka Dr. Poop Lady, this couldn't have come at a better time! So many of my pet clients are drowning in gut issues without even realizing this is Point Zero of ALL health issues. It doesn't come as any surprise that it coincides with conventional vets treating nearly every single vet visit with antibiotics, which are known to kill the healthy flora along with the bad bacteria. Lord, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing! After treatment with antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals (a pill for every ill), the gut is thrown off balance and often never fully recovers. Compound this with the SADD (Standard American Dog Diet) diet which promotes highly processed food/kibble. It is based on ubiquitous profit-driven advertising which serves to educate pet owners based on convenience of feeding, rather than the critical nutritional needs of dogs and cats including nutrient dense, clean, digestible ingredients, enzymes and probiotics. I count my blessings that the Universe brought you into my life many years ago. I am forever grateful that my beloved Sunny The Wonder Horse was granted a significantly longer quality life because of you! The lessons I learned from you continue to shine a light in my own life as well as the lives of every 4 legged soul who crosses my path. I am wholeheartedly one of your best "trouble makers!" I fully appreciate that you are the only person who supported publishing my own book (Poop Tells A Story) which I never did publish because nobody was interested in talking about poop! It's ironic that so many years later we are connected at the sphincter! How many people and animals will sacrifice their lives on the Altar of Pharmaceuticals before people follow the breadcrumbs back to the original issue of gut biome? Carry on! Those who have ears to hear will take this information and make necessary changes that will enrich their lives, as well as the lives of their beloved 4 legged fur kids! I especially appreciate the reminder here regarding glyphosate and GMO ingredients in conventional pet food/kibble. Thank you for your bravery in delivering a message which often falls on deaf ears. I've learned much about how fecal transplants are far superior to my usual recommendations of adding enzymes and probiotics.
