RAK4630 Voltaic V75
The RAK4630 uses so little power, the three other battery banks I tried auto-shut-off after about 30 seconds. The Voltaic V75 has some always-on feature that continues to make it go. The Heltec v3 uses enough power the battery banks DO think there's something connected and will continue to operate.

High flow shutoff "feature" my foot

Been trying to address this problem for well over a year before I found: It's the HIGH FLOW CUT-OFF SAFETY FEATURE... my foot. You gotta open the tank valve REAL SLOW to keep from tripping that safety feature. 02:19 the procedure

That little rotate trick is what I needed I just got the same set and it looked impossible to mount my camera, thanks!!
Thank you for this video! I was wondering how I could get my perpendicular body back horizontal and now it makes sense! Next step, understanding this “inversion ratio” business...
How do you adjust the aperture to the aperture you want? Thanks in advance.
I'm no expert here. As I understand it, aperture is the size of the hole. You can adjust that with the f-stop, which is one of the two main things (f-stop and shutter speed) you can adjust in Manual mode. You should consult your manual for specific details there.
there are noway to set the aperture with this configuration, it's mean it remaining open at the maximal aperature on lens. You need Nikkor lens with apperature ring to be able to set aperature manualy on nikon PB bellow.
@@putragila yeah! Now that you mention it, I believe you're correct. I believe the aperture is big-max light-shallo focus. But we're only taking pictures of a 2D slide. It certainly wasn't an ideal setup, but the results were acceptable.
I bought a bellows to do macro Photography Hooked up to my Nikon D3100 and my 18-55 DX Nikkor lens and it said lens not connected to CPU can you help me.
I know just about nothing about this stuff! But, if there's a bellows between your lens and the camera body, that's certainly the problem. There are some little metal bits on the smart lens that are supposed to be able to communicate with the camera body via matching metal nibs. The bellows must not convey that connection. Go to Manual, and shoot that way.
That small knurled knob on the side of the PS-6 is for tightening the PS-6 around the front the lens. I highly recommend doing this as you can get flare from light hitting the front element at an oblique angle. It is much better to use a macro lens with a deeply seated front element. The 55mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor is perfect for this setup. Not only is it extraordinarily sharp, but it has a very flat field and zero distortion. This kit lens has neither of those very necessary attributes for high quality copy work. Also, many DSLR's and even film cameras from the F4 to F6 will not mount on the rear standard because their battery packs or grips will come in contact with the bottom rail. There are two ways to get around this. The first way is to unscrew the knurled ring that keeps the rear standard from sliding off the rail, remove the rear standard somewhat and mount the camera. I DO NOT recommend doing it this way because if you damage the bellows you are out of luck, you will never find a replacement bellows. A much better and safer way is to get a PS-12 (14mm) Nikon extension ring and mount it on the rear standard and keep it there. It gives you the clearance you need to mount the camera.
The PK-12 or PK-13 method is what Nikon recommends at p.270 of the manual for the D7000 (for example). Also, Nikon made an expensive accessory called PB-6D that is a spacer to insert under the front and back standards (you have to buy two, if you can even find them), which raised the assembly high enough for the camera to clear the rail.
Mailbird is a email application that will take your card# and continue to charge your account several years after you tell them you no longer want to use their email client. As long as you are a good little bird you will be fine, but if you ever fly the coop, well get ready to cancel your card and get a new one to get away from these crooks.
Woah, really? :o I didn't check their pricing model either. Also no macOS support lol.
Hi Drew, so you say that is not necessary to link the lens to the slide holder in front of?The image "scanned" is the same?!
Right. I didn't see any difference in the output. Though, I recall I had to tape those forward bellows fory test. The lens didn't fit the lens mount ring on the slide holder.
@@dkerlee thanks for your answer :)
@@dkerlee Can you tell that this method is better than scanning? For example with the Epson v550
@@FrankP83 Nope, I don't have anything to compare it against. I don't have a film scanner, or I certainly would have used it! I would say that a film scanner, if that's what an Epson v550 is, would have done a better job. Here's the write up: www.photo.net/discuss/threads/nikon-pb-6-focusing-bellows-unit-user-manual.98225/#post-5737817
@@FrankP83 A lot of that has to do with how high the resolving level of your sensor. A 24 MP sensor is plenty good enough. The Epson V550 is a flatbed scanner that also does slides and negatives. The quality is so so. If you have a lot of negatives or slides to scan, you are better off getting a dedicated negative/slide scanner. I have a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-8000 which does an amazing job of scanning, but it is out of production and used ones can cost you $2000+. There are much cheaper alternatives that will do much better than any flatbed scanner.
was that an aerotech or true hybrid motor?
an Aerotech RMS motor
Can you color code folders and sub folders? I manage many accounts, and looking down a long list of folders in Outlook sucks! I can't believe such a simple feature of change color of folder text font is left out of email clients! Wish there was a full GUI for email clients, IE: folder Icons, colors, and just make it 2019, not 1990's. Three + decade of tech, and email client looks one step up from DOS or windows 3.1
Sweet video.
Thanks Drew!🤙
Sweet vid.
😁
How secure is it? Does it store email on its servers. That is something am not very comfortable with.
it's a POP3 or IMAP client. The email is stored where ever your address is at (yahoo servers, google, etc). This is only a client.

Update. After using the wireless charger a few days, I found it seems to drain my battery when it's not charging the battery. I'll be selling this thing and charging station promptly.
