Tallarook in the Jimny
มุมมอง 17K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Day trip to Tallarook state forest. We drove Jenkin, Jenkin link and Flat rock tracks. Fun place if you love rocks. Gave the new carbon 6k winch its first run. Losing 15kg off the front of the car has made a noticable difference.

Victorian high country in a Model T Ford - Day 1

First big trip since putting the new engine in. Drouin - Heyfield - Licola - Donnellys Creek - Walhalla. Loaded up with camping gear, the old Ford had no problem with the hills.
Model T maintenance and test drive
มุมมอง 707 หลายเดือนก่อน
Retorqued the head bolts after the first drive since changing the head. Added an air cleaner. Adjusted the bands so the pedals don't hit the floor. Oil change to remove the last bit of water that was left in the oil. Headlights are now LEDs running on 6V. They need some adjustments before I go out in the dark again.
Model T back on the road
มุมมอง 1.1K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
It's been 3 years since the headgasket let go. The T now has a rebuilt engine, new wiring and lights. It's running a bit rough on magneto but seems perfect on battery.
Lederderg and Wombat forest winching the Jimny out of the mud
มุมมอง 5K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Wet slippery day trip. We got stuck on that last hill for 2 hours trying to free up the winch rope stuck on the drum. Got it free and had to winch back to the top.
Ford Ranger recovery

Ranger and camper trailer stuck climbing up Fultan Creek track near Walhalla. The Jimny added just enough to get them up the hill.

Does the dash light up like on a modern car?
This car had a dash light added, probably when it was new. It doesn't work though. So you are driving in complete darkness
what a nice car.
Straight to the point, not asking to subscribe. Awesome
Mai visto guidare così male, presto cambierai auto , ciao.
I felt scared just watching. Well done mate that was a hell of a track for a Jimny.
He has no idea where his diff is.
Is it automatic or manual transmission? Thanks
tullarook was such a nice weekend easy track look at it now. every tom dick and IDIOT USE IT it;s faarked
Incredible vehicle!
Superb. And so capable jimny. I have 5 door and i do exactly this. Its a beast
I think. You rent a car!
2:10 why is your BLSD not kicking in? Did you not rev it long enough to get it to kick in?
Thank you for sharing this video. May I ask if the car height has been adjusted? Are there any necessary modifications?😁
60mm lift and 235 75 15 tyres
For what, why?
to get to the pub at the end of the track
oh for a two in lift and a stronger gearbox bash plate. well done. nearly as good as a swb paj.
Your approach to that narrow, rocky trail was spot-on. It’s clear your rig is built for adventure, and you’ve got the skills to match.
May i ask who made the front bumper?
Front bar is from AFN. Its a bit bent out of shape because I keep hitting things with it
What size and brand are your tires?
They are 235 75 15 BF Goodrich km3
Driver thinks he is driving a rock bouncer🤣
what tyres do you have?
nice abusing! thanks for video
This thing really need lower gears :(
It has a 1st low that is ridiculously low, but they are not using it probably to have more momentum.
All the driving in this video is first gear low range. If I had a lower gear and could go slower I would be using it. And yes it does need reduction gears
My god that is some serious bashing this tiny thing is able to take! The Indian person who is your camera and spotter is far more conservative than the driver.
@@davehenry6445have you done any engine mods for extra power or it’s stock? You have created a very capable machine, congratulations! Just the right balance of things.
I really enjoyed that. Thanks for making the video
I think it's a good machine but it's a little over priced here in India
Pues en Europa es el más barato
A thosant appologees but I think we are STUKK.
Could you provide the tier and wheel size?
based on a previous video 235/75r15 unless they've changed
Nice
I know those tracks well and you're doing really well! It barely lifts a wheel!
The number of times you say stuck.... it's gone beyond the point of cry wolf...........
hahahaahhah so true
Click-bait title? "Struggle"? Hardly. Diff-locks and they're insanely capable.
That thing. Is a little mountain goat. It is really good.
Very well done 👍 I also own Jimny😊
I wouldn't call that a struggle, you did it pretty easy. Nice work.
Very impressed with the Jimny, good driving mate. My son just bought the 5 door version to keep my defender company and I am really amazed how this car handles off road. He just put BF muddies 215s, some recovery points and bash plates to begin with and we gave it a couple of runs. Cheers
Love it, the old girl would of been right at home on those tracks. Did ya take it wheeling while it was there?
Just along Donnellys Creek Rd, nothing too crazy.
Por qué maneja tan rápido????
Trop fort !
Great video. Nice to see her out driving and being used. More like this please!
Lovely right hand drive T Touring! Canadian-made car? '26? 27? Sounds wonderful.
Canadian made 26, assembled in Geelong, Australia
Where you've bought your front bumper?
It's an AFN bar. Not sure I would buy it again. It's light but a bit too weak.
A car that was so familiar to millions of people - most of whom are no longer with us. I enjoyed your video.
Beautiful built...2inch lift?...what is the tire size?
60mm toughdog lift and 235 75 15 tyres
How much Lift you got? And what tire size?
60mm toughdog lift and 235 75 15 tyres
Any engine mods? Thanks
No engine mods, just suspension and tyres
Great content 👍
Nice job
Cool video! If you don't have lockers and you get to a wheel spin, you should not stop, you should keep pressing the gas gently so the traction would kick in (emulating a locker) but once you stop, traction won't engage
I miss my 4gen. Great driving! Maybe lower the tire pressure some more next time, but I know the ground clearance would become an issue then.
WoW!!👌👍
This is a wonderful video with a great car. I just love the sounds she makes 😍. You won't see an electric car last this long.
