@JPh35 I just got your answer from Richard. Yes, his Lentus has about twice the power of the stock version. He uses a 4s battery with a larger Axi motor and a 12" diameter propeller.

@ChrisFeige I believe those are the stock ESCs. Doug is using two 6s batteries, but each battery powers its own ESC and motor. 🚀👍

@iCrazy414 I am not aware of any for the naked/de-cased 03 unit, but there may be some new available now. There are stock 3d parts that are available on the BetaFPV site for downloading. 👍

Andrew, thank you so much for your kind comments. The Sig Kadet is one of my favorite planes, and this was an impromptu chase that we did for fun, but I wish I'd had a ground camera set up to capture the engine sounds as well. I have been flying FPV for a while now and I use in-camera stabilization to smooth out the footage, but what you are seeing in the video is exactly what I am seeing during the chase. @andrewbolig6995 Yes, I usually sit while flying FPV, but occasionally, I will stand leaning against a car or building in prevention of the "Mackerel Maneuver"....haha😎👍

I haven't experienced that problem since i don't use the ND filters on mine because I mostly fly it indoors.

I believe that I did get a camera and frame mount with the kit. It carries the hero10-bones very well (55g) so it shoud carry your Go3 (35g) very well!. I am considering a swap of the Vista unit for a naked dji 03 unit, but I haven't decided for sure since it flies very well now. Thanks, pahpatree597!!

@pahpatree597 I don't think the bones mount will be secure enough. A 3D printed horizontal mount would be best made from tpu since it dampens vibration, which can cause jello-effect in recorded videos. I did a quick search and didn't see Go3 mounts carried by my usual vendors. Etsy had one that looked good ($12), but I haven't purchased from them before. 3D brain might have one. I'll post it if I find a good one!

It's a silicon sleeve to protect the foam...lol. I can't remember where I got it, but it fits tightly in place and is more comfortable if it's hot outside.

@@sparksfpv the foam underneath the silicone is the original foam that came with the goggles?

Using new HV GNB 530mah batteries, I get a little over 3:30 cruising. I always land before or at 3.5v per cell, and after the battery rests, cells will read 3.7v, which is just below the storage charge.

Thanks for sharing, never thought of using a 3d pen, excellent idea. I does seem like quite a lot of work, de casing the o3 and modding the frame for an extra 30 seconds of flight time. I have seen others use a 3s with the new V2 FC and get similar time but at the cost of more sluggish performance

@dkbbass403 I purchased my naked 03 from Flywoo as a "best testing platform," but seeing how well it works, I might try de-casing one if I needed another in the future. I have the V2 as well, but it just doesn't seem to need the extra power for my cruising needs. If I was using it for freestyle, a 3s might be really needed. Thanks, Dkbass403!! 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

It's really an art to get those parachutes to stream out the cargo door in single file. I hope Bill makes a video showing some of his modifications to make this drop work so smoothly, which I know you understand. It would be really cool to possibly do a military themed story-line and incorporate some warbirds and dogfights. Daniel, if you come up any cool ideas, let me know and we'll give 'em a shot! 🚀🚀🚀

The naked 03 unit fits into the frame nicely, but there are a couple mm of extra space. I used a hand-held 3D pen to fill in the gaps at the corners of the frame to hold it securely in place. I wish that I could upload a photo for you. I will do that in a subsequent video.

The naked O3 is slightly smaller, so I used a 3D pen with black Petg to fill in around the corners and hold it securely in place. 😎👍

We are 136' above sea level. I suppose the better way to measure speed might be to do a telemetry log and then compare the values from the flight to r/o any outlying #s. But they were primarily planning to practice formation flying, but I asked them to do that low pass for the camera....lol. 🚀🚀🚀

Hit 122mph on the new Avanti last week down here in Tampa.. also have hit each other flying close formation........a couple of times😂

That section of the video was shot by a handheld camera, pointing almost straight-up, while next to the pilot during an earlier flight. You are correct, it easily pulled away at less than full-throttle. 👍

The ending of the actual fireworks experienced in person is very loud. The booming can be heard several miles away. One advantage of watching it on TH-cam, is that you can turn down the volume for your your kids. Best wishes!

@leejimerson3354 Luis is not using the receiver sbus. He has 8 pwm channels from the spektrum receiver connecting underneath the MFC-2085. The throttle goes to aux6 according to the online diagram. His receiver sbus going-out is not connected to anything. He sent me a picture, but I can't upload it here. I hope this is helpful.

In this video it is a DJI Air2s. The 1" sensor really performs well at night and in low light.
