Apothecaries aren't allowed in SW armies. They were previously only not allowed im CoR but that's been changed to no Apothecaries (or biologis) full stop. We'll have to see if the wolf priest gets reimagined for that to change

Grey Hunters are what Tactical Squads should have been.

It's sad that all the unique space wolves units will be getting removed when the update drops and they will just get more generic intercessors.

Anvil Siege Force Detachment. Crimson Fists. Tactical Squad with Missile Launcher, Plasma Gun, and Sergeant with Plasma Pistol and Power Fist. Lead by Pedro Kantor and an Ancient with Power Weapon and the Stoic Defender enhancement. This unit combination is not only thematic of the Space Marine look and feel but I played this unit to great effect in the games I played. Sitting at the home objective with a Dreadnought providing fire support and occasional rerolls, it's a an almost durable harassing gunline that can punch back if needed. I have not lost this unit in the games I've played. They even took out a Tyranid Trygon that showed up In my backline on two separate occasions. A feat that terrified and surprised me to this day.

I joined WH with an open mind due to WHTW. I leaned towards Death Guard rather than AoS, the Plague Marines, Mortarian and Death Shroud won me over.

Honestly, Age of Sigmar was just "meh" to me before, with most of their "good" models being cluttered and soulless, but what really permanently drove me away was the absolute *gutting* that Cities of Sigmar got with their official "no longer Old World models" refresh. The Empire of Man has an absolute *gigachad* aesthetic, with the Renaissance clothing and weapons, and their "yeah, you're a giant demon, but I've got a pike and I'mma stick your head on it" attitude. The new, Game of Thrones-esk models have no personality to them, and every one of them looks like they just talk about chamber pots and "gettin tha pox" and all that nonsense. I respect the love of the Slaves to Darkness though. Their models are sick.

alright for the most part valid but A tier should be in B tier(other than nids they stay A), B tier should go to C tier(other than sisters and worldeaters they belong A) and put drukari in A too theyre so sick

My favorite unit in all the Warhammer. I luckily have old upgrade pack recast, so I just need a tactical box or two to complete 2-4 squads of these boys. I think I’ll build at least one with melta and multi melta (i like meltas very much) in Razorback and other with some weapons for fun. I don’t care if GW kicks them out of codex, there still will be legends anyway

I just love the customization so much. I have kibashed a squad of 40k tacs, a squad of 20 mk 3, and a devastator and it gave me about 600 points of solid enough troops

0:27 one important thing to note: Custodians are not space marines, while this sometimes may be thought, Custodians are actually bred to be the perfect humans Space marines are akin to Frankenstein’s monster, and are given implants and shoved with chemicals to make them as strong as they are. Custodians are birthed, and that baby is given the PERFECT amount of everything needed to grow, specially catered to that body, so that it receives the perfect amount of nutrients, vitamins, hormones, etc. That’s why making a Custodian is such a dauntless effort, because each Custodian’s upbringing needs to be micromanaged for their specific body. They have no extra organs like Space Marines, as their bodies are so effective at what they do they can just do it without the aid of extra body parts (like a third lung, for example, a Space marine needs it but a Custodian’s two normal lungs work just as well if not better). TLDR: Custodians are humanity, perfected. What humans could be if they were given exactly what their bodies needed. Space Marines are more crude in comparison.

I could have made a lot of post on my disagreements. But honestly, the fact we share the same opinion on Nurgle and the Death Guard has overshadowed any controversies of factions I like such as Druhkari being to low. Just... your gimmick is your slow and tanky, but in the least engaging way possible. Death Guard just end up feeling like a stat check. Theres no real clever ways to get around em like the other tanky factions of Necrons and Custodes besides I guess kiting? But even then Kiting isn't a real good option do to how objectives work; you just need to kill them.

You forgot the Cavil factor for Custodes…

No Age of Sigmar Army can be above C tier. The most interesting faction in Sigmar is still less interesting than the average 40k army, or Old World Army. That being said, good tier list. I’d probably only shuffle like 4 or 5 factions around, which isn’t a lot considering there are like 30 something total.

Really enjoyed the list. Plenty of personal bias on cool ratings. I'm old school so Eldar, Space Marines, Orks, and Tyranids are all up there for me. I remember the Necrons having one the warrior kits and a lord way back in 2nd or 3rd edition. Then were very expensive to collect and super annoy to play against. As someone interested in AoS, but doesn't play it, you made a good call to break the video up. I'm interested in your AoS ranking video. Slaves of Darkness spear head seems like a fun place to start.

I think this dread is "good" but he's overcosted. He needs a pretty serious strat or detachment buff to truly be worth 220 points. The raw datasheet is simply not worth that, he's 30-40 points overcosted.

My salamanders like this guys, i run them all melta or all flamer depending on the list, but almost always the half with only bolters tend to kill more stuff (never underestimate strength 5 bolters)

Sir I’m not sure what your analytics look like, but I feel like if you just touched on some of the outliers for the weapons instead of role calling every single one with their stats in these bigger units, it would be a far more clear and concise video, and less people would skip to the recommended loadouts. If I’m just listening then hearing 20 weapon profiles with a glurg of numbers, I will not remember it. If I’m staring and watching then I can already see all the stats right on my screen, that’s my thought process atleast
