@@TheOlderandwiser Everything you mentioned will not matter one day, whether we make changes to eliminate it or something else eliminates us either way the galaxy and univers will still be there. Climate change in itself insinuates that it's something that's never happened before on this planet and yet history shows it has for various reasons none related to man. So could the argument be made that we're changing it quicker then it would normally change on its own is debatable. Volcano eruptions alone spew tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and since they are unpredictable they can very well cause an ice age on their own without any help from man. So we could literally do nothing and there would still be climate change. Canada's forests clean out 4 x more CO2 out of the atmosphere then we as a nation produce, our forests are a major contributing factor towards cleaning the world's air yet we pay a massive carbon tax for what exactly because none of it has gone to helping make one bit of a change in the reducing the temperature of the planet even one degree Celsius, it's actually still rising. Then you have emerging countries that are using all sorts of fossil fuels like coal power plants and gas/diesel powered transportation systems and much more with no regulations at all or even oversight for that matter. As for the vaccine damage, well those who fell for it will suffer the consequences for their choices, in the end no one was forced to take it, even if your job demanded you did you could have still quit and found something else to do instead. Believe me if enough people stood up and walked out they would have to cave to the demands or the system crumbles around them. I never took it, was talked around work for a bit but I adamantly said I wasn't taking a vaccine that wasn't properly tested or vetted, never took the H1N1 vaccine either especially after I read that the entire scientific staff that created it all said that they wouldn't take it, said all you need to know. Politics, well we're all screwed there, our governments are the most corrupt organizations in the world period, I see either civil war or WW3 before any changes for the better can be made. Unfortunately the majority of people's hands are tied to the point that anything you do or say against the government is now illegal, their hands have been effectively tied behind their backs and there's no way to use the current system to force change, those in power are corrupt so they will vote against any changes that would cause them to lose any bit of power over the people so what option is left then? As far as religion goes, no other cause or system of beliefs in human history has caused more death than religion and proving who's right. Countless wars waged and fought with millions upon millions dead because of it, idk what God they're praying to but if they like all the carnage that these religious folks have carried out on humanity whether in the past or present than they are no god of mine. As for beer, I don't drink, well socially occasionally, I'm talking maybe 5-6 times a year but usually a rum and coke and I know my limit so I don't become an ass hole. My mother was an alcoholic so she at least taught me what not to do.

The speed of light is the one speed that is NOT relative. This is necessary for it to be the top speed. Otherwise if you were traveling the opposite direction of c at 100 m/s say, then c would be 3 times ten to the tenth m/s + 100 m/s. It doesn't. It's still just 3 times ten to the tenth m/s. This sort of thing causes the stuff that seems weird in special relativity, like time dilation and length.

@@TaijDevon Say you have two space ships. One is traveling to a distant star at 99% the speed of light. The other ship is "stationary". What determines which ship is actually moving and which ship is not, if velocity is relative? And if it's not relative, then still, what determines which one is actually moving?

@@Trumpstinks Either frame of reference is valid. You can look at spaceship A as traveling at 0.99c or spaceship B as traveling at 0.99c. Just not both because that would make a relative velocity of 1.98c and you can't go over c.

@@Trumpstinks It's even stranger than that. If you have one ship stationary, one going "west" at .99 * lightspeed, and another going "east" at .99 * lightspeed, what's the difference in speed between the two "moving" ones? Then answer is between 0.99 and 1 * lightspeed. (The exact answer involves using the Lorentz transformation.) Don't expect your intuition to work, because your intuition doesn't understand relativity. When it comes to speed, 1 + 1 is not always 2. (Math isn't broken, it's just that addition doesn't apply in certain cases that our intuition would think that it does.)

@@TaijDevon I know that. As an object approaches the speed of light, it gains mass and time slows. If you have two objects in space. And one is traveling at 99% the speed of light and one is just floating around near Mars, then what determines that one is actually moving at 99% the speed of light and the other is not? One will gain mass. The other will not. But if velocity is relative, what determines which one is actually moving at near light speed and thus will be acted upon by increasing mass and slowing of time?
