Having fired so many hundreds of rounds, did you ever have to do deep cleaning, such as taking things apart to really get inside the inner workings? Or just run a brush and some spray at the barrels?

I own a lot of guns but if I could only keep one it would be my 686+ 2.5". Just love that pistol.

All jokes aside that .380 is a nice pistol I’m hoping with modern loads and modern pistols .380 makes a come back. Most people act like it’s a weak cartridge but with modern loads it’s basically 9mm without the recoil.

Not made for +P. Shrouded models only they are even limited to less than 1000 +P rounds before sending to colt as recommended

Just acquired the Security 380 yesterday. My P89 stainless has always been too big and too difficult to rack, even in my "youth". Being an Olight fanboy, I got a Baldr Pro overnight Amazon for a great flash deal price, unfortunately too long, ordering the S now. Thanks for your vid here!

Greetings from Germany. I bought this revolver for the exact same reasons like you.

I just purchased mine and took it out to shoot! I had failure to fire one to two times per mag and my slide lock would engage periodically, no matter the brand of ammo i used! So im going to clean it thoroughly and try again, if that doesn't work ill get on the phone with rugar and see whats up! PS i love rugar Firearms i have several and this is the first issue ive ever had!

It comes with an appropriate-sized HANDLE too, much more comfortable to fire at the range then the ruger, which has a distincly-smaller handle.

I have this exact set up! I mostly aiwb and sometimes pocket carry with the flat 10 round mag, and carry a seperate light. When I get home, I pop in the 15 rounder, slap on a baldr s, and click the safety off, helps me sleep better knowing im expediently ready with 16 rounds of underwood +p, and a laser/light for my freshly awakened eyes, in the case of any late night shinanigans at my residence

SR-22 is overrated. Just bought one talo edition. Only put like 50 rounds or so and had three malfunctions . Not buying the whole over 1,000 rounds no hiccups.

I had to put aftermarket upgrade springs in mine to get it to run reliably

I watched lots of vids before I bought one and many folks recommend Aguila 38gr & 40gr.

The Taurus long trigger pull almost makes the safety not neccecary. I pocket carry the Taurus 740 Slim. Always one chambered, safety off. Six years later and close to 1500 hundred rounds. A handful of misfires and a couple FTFs. Great fun. Pretty stout recoil tho. Added the ArmaLaser, grip activated Green Dot. Intimidating laser.

The newer LCP Max is pretty easy to rack. Or at least, the rental one I saw at the range was.
