I'm 29 I'm trying now
Something nobody seems to tell learners is the key to balancing is steering. When you feel yourself leaning, steer INTO the lean. This puts your wheels back under your centre of gravity and keeps you upright. It's not about some magical balancing trick, it's about steering into the lean!
Day 222 for asking hybrid knight

it is so fuiunny at the end
I’m 12 and still hasn’t learn, trying to learn by myself

I keep watching these videos which are really helpful but none of them tells anything about not able to go straight. Finally, I started to ride a bike (44 years old) but I cannot go straight. Any suggestions?
Omg I'm gonna try this tomorrow good night everyone :)
Beautiful and good,some trick
That was so me at 2:15. Sensense of wonder, accomplishment, awe and giddiness mixed together with total disbelief that both my feet were off the ground and actually propelling the bicycle. Wonder of wonders - without falling off. I know that feeling all so well. Congratulations.
Wow. It never occurred to me there were adults that never learned to ride a bicycle. That's something most of us learn as little kids. These same people probably don't know how to swim either.
Love from Bangladesh
Thank you so much I learned bicycle all by myself within two hours. First I didn't used paddles, only by feet than slowly I started to step on paddles one by one.
I'm struggling, the scars I have serve as evidence 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How do u walk with the paddles in the way😭
I can’t keep balance on the bike and I get scare of falling off, if I wasn’t scare/nervous then I would’ve ride a a bike in 10 mins
I can not balance the handle of bicycle
Really...is this your first time?
i taught myself how to ride a bike by riding in the grass so i wasnt scared to fall
please do more videos
I am 22 and am now interested in wanting to know how to ride a bicycle. But there is no one to help me, this is why am looking for "How to learn by myself" videos.
Hello are you able to ride now?
@@bereniceg777 Yes I am. One day after I wrote this comment, I hired a bicycle and went to a secluded area then taught myself using 3 TH-cam videos. After 3 hours, I was able to ride the bike. Then I kept on hiring the bicycle every day to get better at it. Now I am a good cyclist and I enjoy it a lot. I am glad I chose to learn cycling.
@@ekales_ wow great thanks for replying...I'm 20 and I was really embarrassed thinking how people would laugh at me hysterically... Seeing that I couldn't ride a mere bicycle when people my age are starting their own business ☹️
@@bereniceg777 Don't worry, there is nothing embarrassing about it since there are millions of us who decided to learn riding a bicycle in our 20s, some even do it in their 30s or later. When I learnt how to ride, I posted it on Facebook for my friends and family to see. They laughed since it is unsual but their laughter was in a fun way not in a mocking way.
@@ekales_ thanks you sound like a really cool person...bet you actually are...I'll let you know when I start practicing 🤗
Man I’ve been trying lately, really hope I can get the hang of it, my balance is bad
2 months later. Did you learn?
you can look on youtube so you can be better at
I don't know why but this place in the video is looking like groove street in GTA San Andreas 🤣🤣
idk how to learn a bike but i can do fast pedalling but i dont good at balance
I received a 26" boys bicycle when I was 10 years old which was back around 1960. I was fearful of learning to ride it because I could barely touch the ground when straddling the top bar. One of the neighbor kids had a smaller 20" girls bike (open frame) they let me practice on. Using it, I gradually taught myself how to balance a bike. To do it I would start with one pedal positioned halfway between horizontal and top center and push off hard on it, only I'd coast instead of pedaling while trying to balance myself. Once I learned I found my 26" bike was actually much easier to ride than the 20" because my legs could extend out and not work as hard when pedaling. I'm 71 now and have 6 classic bikes I still enjoy taking out some times for short rides up and down our road.
Same here. I am currently 24 yrs. Bought a 26 inch bike, on which I am not able to touch the ground. I also got hold of a 22 inch girl bicycle to train myself this week ❣️
Nice script.. She knew before how to ride a bike
The place looks like Groove Street
I did self training from scooting and had been able to improve to pedalling 3 days ago, but now after 2 days of no practice I lose my balance and can't pedalling anymore. I don't understand why.
I love my next bike ❤️❤️❤️🙂
That was amazing Lunaaa
I am already 14 its so embarrassing sometimes to learn bike outside
Dude I'm 21 and I just learnt to ride a cycle 😂
@@vijaysolanki125 kitna time laga yaar
I'm turning 13 this year, I don't know anyone in my neighborhood who doesn't know how to ride a bike.
I'm scared of falling and people watching me, literally. I am almost 1 week learning a bike solo, btw I'm in my 20s
me also its so difficult 😪 😫
Even i am learning now n i can balance myself with a leg but idk how to use another leg to pedal lmao the bicycle just leans to d other side 😭
The best thing to do is to keep peddling because u usually zone off and try to balance instead of peddling continuously
@@isaiahruba0188 tqs for d tip plz do give some tip for smooth turning
@@alfalfaalfalfa3133 typically I just kinda lean because I ride a mountain bike
How old are you Luna? I'm 17 approximately 18 and sadly I can't ride cycle 😢
I'm 18 as well and a slow learner. This video helped me yesterday A LOT, so I hope it helps you too if you're still learning. th-cam.com/video/Z-ir43q82jQ/w-d-xo.html
It's so good to ride a bike I always got down while I'm biking but that's not the matter the matter is the people that always make fun of you while you are training
You’re better than those people. How many people conquer their fears? You’re doing something that actively scares you and that makes you tougher than most people.
Please make more video about your bike trip.
I'm 45 and I never learned to ride. I tried in '03, but quit because the bike was too big and I was too chicken. I recently taught my 10 yr old to ride a bike, so I'm going to try again. Got another bike for myself, changed out the seat and stem to be more comfortable and upright.
How can you teach your kid to ride a bike if you can't do it yourself? Sheesh.
Excellent tutorial
what bike are u using??
My crotch keeps hurting when i ride and i am a short person they cannot find a short bike so im stuck with crotch hurting forever
Hi! Thanks for sharing. May I ask what size is the bike you used for the video? Or, maybe in the comments can suggest me the proper size for a 1. 70 m person. Greetings.
52-53 cm frame
Kick me idol I'm bikers from Philippines
